00:00Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim dismissed the opposition because he only chose a part of the interpretation of the law

00:07in opposing the decision of Speaker of the People's Court, Johari Abdul,

00:11which holds the position of the six MPs most indifferent to the Union.

00:15Defending the decision made by Johari, Anwar said the decision was a violation of the law

00:22which gave power to the Speaker to decide such a thing.

00:26Referring to the statement of the President of the United Nations, Muhyiddin Yassin,

00:29which stated that the decision of Johari was a violation of Article 49A, Section 3 of the Constitution,

00:36Anwar said that the opposition should not choose one reason and leave the other.

00:42Twenty days ago, the Speaker of the United Nations, Ronald Kyandi,

00:45submitted a notice of the void of the seats of the six MPs,

00:49which was suspended temporarily to the Speaker's Office of the People's Court.

00:53Syed Abu Hussein Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal, Zahary Kecik, Muhammad Azizi Abu Naim,

00:59Iskandar Zulkarnain Abdul Khalid and Dr. Zulkaf Peri Hanapi were dismissed

01:05for failing to respond to a letter of instruction from the Supreme Leader's Assembly

01:09to declare a void of the seats, in addition to continuing to support Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

01:14Meanwhile, the dismissal of Suhaili Abdul Rahman was suspended

01:17for filing a petition to the United Nations on 19 December last year.
