The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, July 10, said two rain-bearing weather systems are expected to affect most parts of the country in the next 24 hours.

00:00And here in our latest satellite images, we can see that the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCZ, is already having a particular effect on Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
00:10That's why you can see that there are almost cloud clusters here in Southern Luzon, as well as outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility,
00:18which is on the axis of what we call the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or the flow of air from different hemispheres of the world.
00:27And this is what we expect to bring rainfalls, particularly in a large part of Southern Luzon.
00:31So this is Mimaropa, Calabarzon, and also Camaynilaan.
00:35So there's a high chance of rainfalls in Metro Manila, as well as in Central Luzon.
00:39We also expect rainfalls in Western Visayas, as well as the Negros Island Region and the province of Siquijor.
00:47In the rest of our country, in Mindanao, Northern Luzon, Central Visayas, and Eastern Visayas, we will experience isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
00:58For now, we are still not monitoring any low-pressure areas, even though we are seeing cloud clusters.
01:06But we still don't see any rainfalls inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:12Meanwhile, this is what we expect to bring rainfalls, particularly in Luzon.
01:16We can see that there's a high chance of rainfalls and thunderstorms, particularly in a large part of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, as well as in Metro Manila and Central Luzon.
01:27This is the end of the Intertropical Convergence Zone, or ITCC, where its axis is affected, particularly in Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
01:37Meanwhile, in Northern Luzon, particularly in Ilocos Region, Cordillera, and Cagayan Valley Region, we expect isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.
01:46The weather may still be a bit hot, particularly in Northern Luzon this afternoon.
01:50For now, the temperature outside is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:54In Tagaytay, it's up to 35 degrees Celsius.
01:56In Baguio, it's 70 to 24 degrees Celsius.
01:59In Manila, it's 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:02In Tagaytay, it's 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:05Meanwhile, in Legazpi, it's 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:09Here we are in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao.
02:12We can see that the chances of rain in Palawan, ITCC, and Aguatan Temperatura in Calayaan Islands are high.
02:19It's 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:21Meanwhile, in Puerto Princesa City, it's 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:25It will also be raining in a large part of Western Visayas, including Negros Island Region and Siquijor.
02:31In the southern part of Visayas, Central Visayas, and Eastern Visayas, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms may be experienced this afternoon.
02:40Aguatan Temperatura in Iloilo is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:43In Cebu, it's 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:46In Bastakloban, it's 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:50Meanwhile, in Mindanao, it's partly cloudy until cloudy skies.
02:55There are also chances of rain in the afternoon and evening,
02:58like localized thunderstorms and ITCC, in a large part of Mindanao.
03:03Aguatan Temperatura in Zamboanga is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:07In Cagendeoro, it's 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:10Meanwhile, in Dabao, it's 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:13We're hoping that the next few days, it will continue to rain.
03:17ITCC, particularly in a part of the Palawan area, Western Visayas, and Zamboanga Peninsula,
03:24there are also chances of rain in the next few days.
03:28For now, we don't have a high-level gale warning.
03:30However, it's safe to say that sea vehicles, even small boats,
03:34will still be able to cross the country.
03:38Meanwhile, our day will be busy.
