00:00The darts in her, we made a really good shot placement.
00:13She's stayed where we want her to stay, so we've just got to wait a couple minutes and
00:17she should hopefully go to sleep right there in that tree, just super smooth, exactly how
00:21we want it to go.
00:22While the dart's in, the cat has stayed in the tree, which is really, really good news.
00:27It's a small tree, easy to climb if we have to.
00:30The dogs have been held, so if the cat does fall out of the tree, they can't get on it
00:33and hurt it.
00:35So far, everything's going well, but like with anything in wildlife, it can change in
00:38a second.
00:48Corey prepares the rope so that Kendra, their undergrad student, can climb up and tether
00:52the cat to lower her down.
01:10So Kendra, who's the undergrad, is going up the tree, he's going to tie the front paws
01:15of this cat and then lower it down and then the vet and the biologist are down there preparing
01:20an area where we're actually going to process the cat.
01:22So by processing, what I mean is taking all of the samples, all of the measurements, changing
01:26out its collar because the batteries have gone flat, and then releasing it back into
01:30the wild.
