UAAP three-time best middle blocker Thea Gagate made history after the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles called her name up, making her the first-ever No.1 draft pick of the PVL at the Novotel Hotel in Manila on July 8, 2024. Gagate said she was grateful for the opportunity and the trust of ZUS.
