Son of XL Bully attack victim speaks out

The son of a man who was mauled by an XL Bully in the street has spoken of his ordeal.

00:00I mean, my dad was one more bite.

00:01He was one more bite away from that thing killing him.

00:05Right. So, you know, as in.

00:09My dad managed to stave him off jumping for his neck, basically.

00:14Right. And obviously where he he basically carved out my dad's

00:19forearm and luckily didn't hit the pulse, you know, or like

00:24like a nerve that would have disabled his fingers.

00:27You know, so it was he was just let's just say in that regard.

00:32He's quite lucky, you know.

00:35If it's that dangerous, like you as a normal person should be able to

00:42like you should know where they are in your vicinity.

00:45Like, you know,

00:49I've now realized how dangerous it actually is.

00:52You know, it there's an old lady that lives

00:54opposite my parents' house, who's older than them.

00:58Right. She's 80 something.

01:00She keeps herself fit by walking around.

01:03And she was saying to me the other day,

01:04oh, I'm scared to sort of sort of scared to walk around now.

01:09Like, I don't know whether I should walk

01:11that way or whether I should walk that way down my road.
