00:00Two former members of the Bahalana Gang were arrested for drug buy-bust operations in Malate, Manila.

00:06The suspects admitted to selling drugs because of their need.

00:15These two men fell in the precinct after they were arrested for a buy-bust operation in Malate, Manila.

00:22The suspects were unable to corner the police.

00:25After buying drugs, they passed away early this Saturday.

00:30They were able to buy 47 grams of shabu, which is more than P300,000,

00:35which is our estimated drug amount.

00:41According to the suspects, their operation was in Pasay,

00:45where members of the Bahalana Gang were involved.

00:47Their item was dropped by a big-time supplier in Pasay City.

00:52The 27-year-old suspect, Alias Baba, was arrested for drug buy-bust operations because he needed to spend money on his family.

00:59Something happened to me. I was looking for drugs so I brought it to other people.

01:10I was just pretending that I needed to spend money.

01:13Alias Baba, who was arrested for drug buy-bust operations in Section 5 and 11,

01:18has a previous case of violation of R.A. 9165 in 2018.

01:24He was released because he needed plea bargaining.

01:29He is also on the Barangay Watch List of their area.

01:33Alias Angkong, a 24-year-old first-time offender, has been in prison for a year.

01:49The two suspects are facing a complaint of violation of R.A. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
