An Echidna's job is just never done! Even after destroying one of the strongest machines in Robotnik's arsenal at the top of the Launch Base Zone, Knuckles finds that there are still more problems on his island. Returning to the Mushroom Hill Zone, Knuckles sets off to continue his hunt for the Egg Robo, but gets a startling surprise at the end, Robotnik has returned! Spotting the retreating Egg Robo racing toward the rebuilt Flying Battery ship, Knuckles wastes no time hopping aboard in hopes of stopping both Robotnik and his forces once and for all...
