00:00We just showed you the American League pennant prices here on this Monday on
00:04the early line. One week out from the MLB All-Star break. We'll show you the
00:09National League pennant prices and get your take, that being the public, to start
00:13off our third hour. Now the individual races, Donnie, following the 4th of July
00:18weekend and a long holiday weekend at that. Aaron Judge still remains the
00:22hefty odds-on favorite to win the AL MVP award if he is even healthy for a
00:26majority of the homestretch in second half of this season. He is going to win
00:31that MVP award in my estimation, minus 280, while in front of Gunnar Henderson
00:36who is having a great season for Baltimore, but still behind Aaron Judge.
00:40Tarek Skuble putting on display yesterday why he is the frontrunner for
00:45the AL Cy Young Award. 13 strikeouts and a Tigers 5-1 victory over the Reds to
00:51complete the sweep. And as we shared, Donnie, breaking down that game, Skuble
00:55plus 110, Baltimore's Corbin Burns at plus 230. Separated by just over a dollar,
01:01a large drop-off to Seth Lugo of the Royals at 14-1. Seems to be a two-guy
01:07race for the American League Cy Young Hardware. Yeah, we're getting separators
01:11right now and rightfully so. Tarek Skuble fresh off another dominating
01:14performance yesterday. You know he's going to get that bump, but also we'll
01:18take a look at the Baltimore Orioles now. A few games in first place lead over the
01:22New York Yankees in the AL East. Burns is every bit as deserving and this just
01:27might come down to, once again, who's going to get those extra starts at the
01:30end of the season. Skuble's still a young pitcher in Major League Baseball. We
01:33don't think Detroit is going to make the playoffs. So in that final three weeks of
01:37the season when they're de facto just playing out the string, are you going to
01:41allow him to get those final couple starts here to try to win that award?
01:44You're gonna say, look, hey, those awards are gonna come. You did enough work here
01:47over the summer. We're gonna shut you down for those finals two weeks when
01:50Corbin Burns might be pitching in the final weekend of the Major League
01:54Baseball season, Ben, in enough to win maybe the pennant or become a first
01:58place team entering into the playoffs and win the AL East. That's something
02:01to keep an eye on. Getting back to the MVP race, it is Aaron Judge's to lose.
02:05Right now also that minus 250 has now turned into a minus 300 price on Aaron
02:10Judge. So it looks like all you're betting right now in the American League
02:13and that MVP race is, are you thinking that Aaron Judge is going to be healthy?
02:17What I mean, healthy is he could go in an I. L. Sten for a week, maybe two
02:20weeks and still get away with it. But you just can't have that devastating
02:23injury that's going to hamper his numbers. So if you're gonna take a fly
02:27on, let's just say Gunner Henderson, you're basically just betting that
02:29Aaron Judge is going to get hurt at this point because judges having a
02:33phenomenal season. And if the season ended right now, it's Aaron Judge in a
02:37runaway minus 300 for Judge. We also have a hefty favorite to win the
02:42National League MVP Award minus 330 on Shohei Ohtani. In fact, we have Aaron
02:47Judge versus the field in the American League. Ohtani versus the field in the
02:52National League. Judge to win it in the AL minus 300, the field plus 230. Ohtani
02:58to win it in the National League minus 330, the field plus 250. We'll talk at
03:03L in just a moment. Donnie, I do want to highlight Steven Vogt, who right now is
03:08the odds on favorite to win the AL Manager of the Year at minus 130. The
03:13first year skipper for the Guardians, the best team in the American League.
03:17Vogt is only 39 years old. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he wrapped
03:21up his Major League Baseball career in Oakland just two seasons back in 2022
03:27playing on the diamond. Now he's leading Cleveland to the best record in the AL.
03:32Yeah, longtime veteran catcher there to serve the players manager, as you would
03:36know, and minus 130 price is something that you might want to check into because
03:40if they do win that division, he's going to win that award. The only thing that
03:44could change is Cleveland drops back in the central race. And then you take a
03:47look and say, Well, Alex Corp is Boston team was for me left for dead game
03:51number one in the Major League Baseball season now 49 and 40, but they're not
03:55gonna win the division. One would think for Boston, so you don't get those extra
03:58bonus points. You probably have to win the division unless you're doing
04:02something spectacular on a team that nobody ever thought would do. So Stephen
04:06vote right now, certainly in first place. If they fall out of it, then it's
04:10gonna be Alex score. I do believe because it means Boston probably had a
04:13damn good season and made the playoffs when I didn't even expect that
04:17now over the National League should show. Hey, Tony DRS be this strong of a
04:21favorite to win the NL MVP award. Yeah, he should be at this point because he
04:26is the best player right now. Now, granted, I say this Bryce Harper's at a
04:2991 price. He's gonna come back and he can certainly, you know, short in those
04:33numbers. But I always get a kick out of how is the actual betting public and
04:37also how are the writers who vote on this thing going to take an opportunity
04:41to say, Well, okay, if somebody's close to show, hey, Tony, in statistics, the
04:45everyday player is going to get the bump over show. Hey, Tony, who's just a
04:49D. H. At this point, if show how tiny was pitching to a 45 era, he'd be
04:53running away and be a minus 1300 once again to win this word, but he's not. So
04:58I'm interested to see if Bryce Harper can come back after the all star break
05:01and make that a close to race, which I think he will.
05:04When you look at the National League Cy Young Award, only two guys with a
05:09three digit price. Zach Wheeler plus 1 35. Chris Sale, a resurgence in Atlanta.
05:14Paul Skeen's 50 to 1. The heavy favorites went nationally. Rookie of
05:19the Year or T. E. L. That
