00:04has given our countrymen a decent and affordable housing.

00:09The target of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development

00:13is to build 100 housing projects before the end of the current year.

00:22Thousands of houses are being built under the Pambalsang Pabahay

00:26for the Philippine or 4PH program of the government.

00:29According to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development of Desuda,

00:32there are 40 construction projects or a total of 140,000 houses

00:37that are currently being built under the program.

00:39According to Desuda's Secretary, Jerry Acosar,

00:42their target is to reach 100 construction projects before the end of 2024.

00:47This is the formula that our administration, the 4PH, is saying.

00:52This is the way that everyone who has a job should have a house.

00:57In short, they want the private sector to be able to afford a house,

01:02especially for ordinary citizens, through interest subsidies.

01:05According to Acosar,

01:07the 4PH aims to remove all informal settler families from the cities

01:10where the DOLE, DTI, TESDA, and other government agencies

01:15are located to provide these, not only a house but also a livelihood.

01:19It should be noted that Desud first asked for the issuance of a guarantee in the fund

01:23to increase the confidence of the government's financial institutions

01:26to support the program and to attract investors from the private sector.

01:31Acosar clarified that as long as a sovereign guarantee is obtained,

01:35the 3 million houses will be used before the term of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ends.

01:41Meanwhile, in an interview with Acosar in the Pleasant Special,

01:45he also assured that there is a secure house for OFWs.

01:49You should go to the LGUs, especially to the OFWs.

01:56You will surely get a house because the government's house is already there.

02:00At present, the 4PH's partner is located in 200 local government offices

02:06Desud also urged the private sector, particularly the minimum wage earners,
