Iran's new reformist president Masoud Pezeshkian delivers first speech

"We make promises and we fail to fulfill them. This is the biggest problem we have,” Pezeshkian said in his first speech as Iran's new president.

00:07runoff election. Speaking to supporters in Tehran, he said,

00:15Reformist Pazeshkian campaigned on a platform of reaching out to the West to improve relations

00:20and relaxing enforcement of the country's mandatory headscarf law.

00:24The election took place after previous president, the hardliner Ebrahim Raisi, was killed in
