Tesla Showcases Humanoid Robot Optimus at World AI Conference in Shanghai

Tesla showcased its humanoid robot Optimus at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai behind a glass display. This was one of the few American AI products seen at the top AI conference in China. Optimus is Tesla's second-generation humanoid robot equipped with its self-developed neural network and computer vision technology. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said Optimus could lift Tesla's market cap to $25 trillion once it enters full production. While humanoid robots have started being used in sectors like education and healthcare in China, representatives said they are still in the research stage and not generating sales yet.
