02:11later transitioned to the Army Aviation Corps, becoming a skilled helicopter pilot and a qualified flying instructor.
02:19His wife, Sarika Gulati, and son, Saksham, attended the ceremony and received a PVC cap from his coursemates.
02:29The 101 regulars also paid tribute to Flight Lt. Mayank Mayur from the Foxtrot Squadron of the NDA.
02:37Group Captain Mangesh Zate led the wreath-laying ceremony for the fallen coursemate, who died in 2004.
02:45Flight Lt. Mayank Mayur was assigned a valley-flying training mission in a four-aircraft formation,

03:01From Manaspal, the riders drove through the snow-covered peaks and meandering rivers of Sonmarg.

03:19They made a mandatory stop at Captain Moore,
03:21constructed in memory of the late Captain F.C. Vadhera of the 13th Field Company, 4th Engineer Regiment,
03:35who constructed this road stretch in 1954, and it has been remembered as Captain Moore ever since.
03:52This stretch is known as one of the most dangerous in the world to drive.
04:04The team crossed the Zozila Pass, also known as the Gateway of Ladakh.

04:13In May 1948, Zozila fell to Pakistani raiders and it was crucial for India to recapture the pass before winter to free Leh.
04:22Operation Bison was launched, involving a surprise attack by the 77th Parabrigade, supported by 3 Jat and 9 Jat,
04:30which successfully captured Zozila on November 1, 1948, pushing Pakistani troops back to Mateyan.
04:40Day 10
04:42After a refreshment break at Bhumri Cafe, a popular stop along this route,
04:47the riders drove for an hour along breathtaking roads, arriving at Dras, known as India's coldest inhabited place, for an overnight stay.

05:16Upon reaching Dras, it felt like a reunion as they met a few fellow course mates there.
