00:00Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, along with former President Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Bong Go, filed a plunder complaint.

00:08This was done by the two young men in order for Go's family to receive the billion-peso worth of contracts in Davao.

00:22Two years after the termination of former President Rodrigo Duterte,

00:26former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV filed a plunder complaint,

00:32along with the complaint filed by Senator Bong Go, who was close to the former President.

00:37In Trillanes' complaint affidavit filed by the Department of Justice,

00:41he said that Duterte and Go colluded in order for Go's family to receive the billion-peso worth of contracts in Davao from 2007 to 2018.

00:54This is about the government projects,

00:59totaling 6.6 billion that they awarded to the father and brother of Bong Go.

01:08This is a clear plunder and all elements of the plunder charge are included in this case.

01:18In the question of how much of the awarded contracts went to the pockets of Duterte and Go, Trillanes said,

01:25All of those were awarded to the family.

01:28The way the plunder is defined by law, if your family was harmed by ill-gotten wealth.

01:39They used their position, authority and influence to give and corner the projects.

01:49Trillanes explained that he just filed a complaint because he believes that the justice system of the Duterte administration will not be fair.

01:58This also has nothing to do with his repeated plans to run in the 2025 elections.

02:04As you know, I've been doing this for a long time. It's not new.

02:09In our case, you will be furnished a copy. You will see that this is flimsy for publicity purposes.

02:19This is clear that this is a complete case.

02:23Go denied the accusation against them by Duterte.

02:26But he said that this is a welcome for him so that the issue that is always being recycled against him can be resolved.

02:33Go also said that the Commission on Audit can look at this and file a complaint.

02:39He did not deny that his family has a business.

02:43He is sure that he was not harmed or his family in becoming his government.

02:48The GMA Integrated News is still trying to get Duterte's money.

02:53But he was defended by his former presidential legal advisor, Salvador Panelo,

02:59who was called a publicity stunt by Trillanes.
