00:00The Pag Corps will follow the President's order to gradually remove the POGOs from the country.

00:06Some lawmakers, however, lack the President's statements on the price to buy and the increase in the salary.

00:23This is the surprise announcement of President Bongbong Marcos to his third son.

00:31Until this year, he only gave to the Pag Corps to remove the POGOs from the country.

00:36The Pag Corps will follow the President's order.

00:39For six months, we will do everything to study on how we can remove them slowly.

00:46We will explain to the legal persons who have the license.

00:51According to the Pag Corps chairman, there are 43 legal POGOs where more than 40,000 Filipinos live.

00:59These are not included in the indirect and ancillary services that are also earned from POGOs.

01:06The President also said that he is ordering to prepare training programs

01:14so that the Filipinos who will be displaced will have a chance to find a new life.

01:24Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma said they will find a way to give jobs to the affected POGO workers.

01:32Senator Riza Ontiveros is leading the investigation of the Senate on POGOs

01:38and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission is happy with the President's decision.

01:43The NEDA, our finance department, has already conducted studies on the Filipinos who will be displaced

01:55in the removal of POGOs.

01:57I think there will be an adjustment.

02:00This is a success for the women and children who protested, for the whistleblowers who protested.

02:08This is an important success for those mothers.

02:12This was also criticized by other mothers and even some in the opposition.

02:16The removal of POGOs is positive for me because we are the ones who are leading

02:22and we are very vocal in removing or banning this.

02:27This work still needs to be addressed for our fellow Filipinos.

02:32But they also criticized the President's other remarks, particularly on the price of rice

02:38and the lack of minimum wage.

02:40The per-region increase in wage is not enough.

02:43That's why we filed a national minimum wage.

02:46But until now, the President is avoiding it.

02:50We really want to tell the President to walk the talk.

02:55Why? Because what they're saying about the price of rice,

02:59what they're doing is very manipulative.

03:02Even if you increase the minimum wage, it will still not be a solution.

03:08For Senate President Jesus Codero, the President's zone has become honest and comprehensive.

03:15His remarks discussed many important things that the Filipino people feel.

03:21And I was also pleased that he prioritized his contribution to agriculture,

03:27the price of rice, and he ended it with the removal of POGOs.
