Transcript
00:002024 Tour de France Stage 7, from Nuit-Saint-Georges to Gavray-Chamberton, a time trial, only 25
00:10kilometers, and this is going to be a big one for our GC riders, including the winner of the last
00:15two editions of the Tour de France, Jonas Vingegaard. He hasn't TT'd since a Tour of the Basque Country,
00:21and that TT, it was won by Primoz Roglic. Now, maybe this is a short TT, too short for the GC
00:29riders to make a difference, but it's going to be a very important day out. In the 25.3 kilometers,
00:36we head north, making a semi-circle in a clockwise direction to get to the finish.
00:42There are no categorized climbs on the program, on the route of the day, and we should see a pure
00:49speed test. Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vingegaard, and of course Primoz Roglic will want to do their best
00:57day. Remco Evenepoel will probably be the favorite. I spoke with Jonas Vingegaard today, and he said, yes,
01:04watch out for Remco Evenepoel. He is the favorite on the day, and Remco won the TT at the Criterium
01:10du Dauphiné just a few weeks ago. What will happen? Will we see big time differences? I don't know, but
01:17this is the first of two tests in the 2024 Tour de France, with the second of the two coming on the
01:22final day in Nice. Stage 7, a TT through Burgundy wine country, a true test in this 2024 Tour de France.
