00:00Thank you to all the staff who have worked tirelessly throughout the night, thank you so much, you've been amazing.
00:04Thank you also to my fellow candidates, it's a real honour to stand alongside all of you.
00:09To my family and friends, my kids are going to sleep actually, but thank you.
00:13Thanks for your love and support for this campaign.
00:16To my amazing campaign team, most of whom are here, including my agent Katie Hall.
00:21And the amazing 110 volunteers who have walked this journey with me over the last few months, thank you.
00:27This is a power of victory, born out of hard work and I believe that when we show up together, great things can happen.
00:33But most of all, I want to thank the people who have been with me since then.
00:37Over the last few months, it's been a great joy to meet with you and to be welcomed with such warmth into your home and businesses and schools.
00:45You've shared so much with me and I've learned so much from you.
00:48Whether it's the incredible local campaigners who are doing everything they can to protect our rivers,
00:53the hard-working volunteers who provide the safe and informable spaces for young people to thrive,
00:58or the many community interest companies who create fantastic opportunities for local people.
01:03Through these sunsets is a very special place and it's the privilege of my life to represent it.
01:09Finally, to everyone who has lent me their vote during this election, particularly those who might otherwise have voted Labour or Green, thank you.
01:17I know that giving your vote won't have been the meanest decision for you to have taken lightly.
01:21I will work hard every day to honour that decision.
01:24There is a lot to do. I won't pretend the challenges are not huge.
01:28You've lived through the damage that's been done to our economy over the last few years by reckless policy decisions.
01:34The struggles that so many families are facing while watching our precious public services stretch the breaking point.
01:40Over the last few weeks, time and again, you've shared your stories with me.
01:44And there will be lots of talk about change in the next few weeks, but that's a word that can't be taken lightly.
01:50Change means truly healing our broken NHS.
01:53Change means that no parent will ever have to worry about how they're going to feed their child.
01:58Change means tackling climate change head on and protecting our beautiful environment.
02:02Anything less than that is not enough.
02:05So to everyone here in Frimley-Somerset, no matter how you voted, I will make sure your voice is heard at Westminster.
02:11I will listen to you, I will stand with you and I will support you.
02:15It's time to get to work. Thank you very much.
