00:00What an incredible evening here tonight at the BET Awards,
00:03culture's biggest night.
00:04The show is just about to end.
00:06What has been your highlight so far?
00:08Oh man, seeing Usher receive his flowers
00:10has been very special.
00:11I think he is someone who has influenced me as a creative,
00:15as a man, as an artist, and just his grace
00:18that he walks through life with.
00:21He couldn't be a better example, honestly.
00:23Shout out to Usher Raymond, yeah.
00:25The camera panned to you quite a few times
00:27when Usher was on stage
00:28receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award.
00:30You seemed really into what he was saying
00:32and very inspired.
00:33Tell me about that.
00:35See, the thing is,
00:38I've always been very comfortable in my own skin.
00:42And I know how to celebrate greatness.
00:46It doesn't matter if we're around the same age.
00:49It doesn't matter how long he's been it versus me.
00:54I am the biggest Usher Raymond fan, period.
00:58When he wins, there's something inside of my heart
01:01that just really rejoices.
01:04And he works so hard.
01:06He's been so consistent.
01:08He's been able to reinvent himself.
01:10And Usher has blessed me.
01:13Before I got on and released my first single,
01:17I was featured in a video called My Way.
01:19And I was his rival in the video.
01:21That was his video that he did not have to let me
01:24dance in or be in.
01:26♪ He likes it my way, yes, my way, my way, my way. ♪
01:33Circle moment for you tonight.

06:04there was a real cultural moment
06:06where the whole world just paused in disbelief
06:10at what happened when the LAPD beat down Rodney King
06:17on the level that they did.

06:561992 is a movie starring, rest in peace, Ray Liotta,
07:01myself, Scott Eastwood, Chris, as I stated, plays my son,
07:06and it's all that went down, a whole heist
07:09that's gonna go crazy that went down in the middle
07:12while the whole world was distracted
07:14and burning everything down.
07:16Ray Liotta, Scott Eastwood, they crazy.
07:20Watching news.
07:21No one minding the store.
07:26This is our window.
07:34All I can say is we on the West Coast
07:38have not had a movie moment since Straight Outta Compton.
07:42Kendrick Lamar got us hot in these streets,
07:44LeBron James and his son got us hot in these streets,
07:48but we got the only movie that's coming from the West Coast.
07:55Give me my son.
07:56And if I don't?
07:57Then we got a problem, homie.
