"We Want Biden" Black Voters Furious Over Calls for Biden to Step Down, Says Conservative Commentator

00:00When you brought up this idea of Biden stepping aside, and I think that's a really important
00:03data point to understand how everyday Americans are viewing this, despite what we see in the
00:08polls and so forth.
00:09Tell us about that.
00:10So I'm on Sirius XM Urban View.
00:11It's the only African-American channel on Sirius XM.
00:15Everyone knows on that channel that I'm the lone black conservative there, and I made
00:19the case to my audience that, hey, I think the president should step down based upon
00:22what we saw.
00:24And I listened to my audience, all African-Americans, and I said, I think he should step down and
00:28Vice President Harris should carry forward.
00:30Every single person that called into my show, Pamela, they did not think Vice President
00:34Harris could win it, not because they didn't support her, but as many of them often said,
00:38we don't think this country would elect a black woman.
00:41And so most of them said, we're going to stand behind President Biden.
00:44We don't want him to get out of the race.
00:46And I said, well, look at the polls.
00:48Look at what people are saying.
00:49What about members of Congress?
00:50They did not want to hear it.
00:52And so if you're President Biden or you're advising President Biden, one of his most,
00:57I guess, ardent, core constituencies, they're behind him.
01:01They're not backing down.
01:02And I listened to dozens and dozens of people call into my show.
01:05So many of my producers said, we can't take any more callers, because that's how angry
01:09they were with me, possibly raising the idea that he should step down and be replaced by
01:14someone else.
01:15They said, no, we don't want Trump.
01:16We want Biden, even if he has some episodes here and there.
01:19They didn't really care.
01:20They thought that he was a better option.
