What is the difference between the Present Simple and the Present Continuous?

Grammar time! What on earth is the difference between the Present Simple and the Present Continuous? Let’s break it down my friends! We use the PS to talk about: FACTS and ROUTINES We use the PC to talk about: something happening NOW (at the moment of speaking) or for a PLANNED FUTURE EVENT ✏️ Words that show us we need the PS: ALWAYS, USUALLY, OFTEN, SOMETIMES, RARELY, NEVER ✏️ Words that show us we need the PC: NOW, RIGHT NOW, AT THE MOMENT, TOMORROW, NEXT WEEK, TONIGHT ✏️ We build the PC by using a form of the verb TO BE + (VERB)ING EX: I AM EATING a pizza right now.
