Richmond give Martin more time to decide his future

00:00He's better. He's going to try and train today. So we only had a light session the other day as a

00:04clutch run, so we didn't do anything. But there's going to be a test run on Tuesday. So today's

00:10going to be main session, see how he goes and we'll make a decision later this afternoon.

00:15How much does the travel factor go into that?

00:17Yeah, all of that's going to come in. Six day break,

00:20sore back. One, we want to make sure his back's okay and then we'll make a decision on his full

00:25weather. The six day break and the travel is going to be a bit too much. So,

00:29yeah, we'll have those discussions later today. But it's good to see how he's going to try and

00:32get out there today and train.

00:34What do you make of David Schwartz's comments

00:36through the week that Dustin is such a sign to you that you're with the Gold Coast already?

00:42Well, Schwartz, that was lucky. He's a good mate of mine. Yeah, that's all speculation.

00:49All I know is walking into the building today, bubbly, he's enjoying being here.

00:55And as I've said all along, he'll make those decisions

00:58in the coming weeks on what he's doing, what his future looks like.

01:01But right now, he's thinking about getting out there to train.

01:06Is there any deadline from either side in terms of a decision on what he wants to do? Or is it

01:11you're happy to let it sort of bubble away to the end of the season if you need?

01:14Yeah, I kind of did try to push it and say, let's look at the end of July or

01:18the start of August or whatever it is, just so that we can make those decisions. And it's

01:22obviously getting close to that now, but we haven't got a timeline on it other than the

01:27fact that we just want him to be happy and healthy while he's here and he can make those decisions.
