00:00Beth Tweddle, what brings you to Colham Primary School?
00:04So, I'm here celebrating Olympic week with the children.
00:07Obviously, we've got the Paris Games not long away
00:10and they're all getting excited, aren't you?
00:12You've been trying lots of different sports
00:14and meeting lots of different people.
00:16So, just thought I'd come along and get involved.
00:19You've been enjoying it, guys?
00:20Yeah, yeah.
00:21You had a good workout?
00:22Yeah.
00:23Is Beth Tweddle a strict gym teacher?
00:26No.
00:27Oh!
00:28I don't know what you wanted him to answer then, Beth,
00:30I'm not sure.
00:31But it's an important lesson, isn't it, sport?
00:34It's not just physical.
00:35I mean, just the story that you've kind of been telling
00:37them in the assembly, it's the whole, you know,
00:41pursuing your dreams and not giving up.
00:43Yeah, I mean, obviously sport can teach you
00:44how to do the sport, but there's so many of the skills
00:47that we've been learning about today.
00:48Teamwork, resilience, perseverance, determination,
00:53respect, so yeah, I think sport can give
00:57so much more than the sport they're learning.
00:59Yeah.
