Lower House to prioritize approval of 2025 nat’l budget

00:11House Speaker Martin Romaldis made this assurance a day after the president approved the budget

00:16for next year.

00:17He added, aside from the passage of priority measures, the lower house also intends to

00:22focus on the national fund, which aims to approve before session break in September.

00:27Among those which the lower house aims to allot funds to are the education and agriculture

00:32sectors, national defense, and the legacy projects of the president.

00:37The house speaker noted the government's infrastructure projects will continue to receive funding

00:42to help achieve economic growth for the country.
