00:00On July 19, as the new Secretary of the Department of Education of Senator Sonny Angara,

00:05the first one to be appointed by the President to increase the international ranking of education in the Philippines.

00:17According to the new Education Secretary, Senator Sonny Angara,

00:20he was called to Malacanang to tell him that he was chosen to replace Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:30to increase the international standing of the Philippines in the Program for International Student Assessment or PISA.

00:36Also to improve the teaching of history to students.

00:57This is Angara's second term as a Senator.

01:00That's why he can't run for re-election in the upcoming election of 2025.

01:05Because Senator Angara's appointment as the new Secretary of the Department of Education of Senator Sonny Angara this month,
