00:00Yannick, nice to get that first win under your belt.
00:06Yeah, for sure. It feels great to be back here.
00:09Obviously, starting off in a very tough match.
00:14As you saw, he was playing great.
00:16I tried to raise my level at the end of the match,
00:20which I'm very happy about.
00:21Let's see what's coming in the next round.
00:23Questions in English?
00:25Yannick, congrats.
00:27Next round you will face an Italian guy.
00:29That's not a big surprise,
00:30because there are lots of good players at the moment from Italy.
00:33Can you give an explanation of that?
00:36The explanation is always the same.
00:38I feel like in Italy we have so many tournaments,
00:41starting with juniors and then in the future with challengers.
00:44We have big, big ATP tournaments there.
00:48We have good facilities and great coaches.
00:52I think the combination with that
00:55and also the weather,
00:56I feel like we can play the whole year outside if we want.
01:02I think this is one of the reasons.
01:04Everyone makes his own way and his own path.
01:08It's good to see as many Italians as possible in one draw.
01:16Yannick, congrats on the win.
01:17This is a very small detail,
01:19but I noticed sometimes in between the points
01:21you touched the top of the racket frame.
01:23I was just wondering,
01:24and you kind of pulled a little bit,
01:26I was wondering what you were adjusting in that moment.
01:29No, it's sometimes when you slip or I slide,
01:31I touch with the racket on the ground
01:33and there is some grass and I just take out the grass.
01:38I see. Thank you.
01:40One more question about that.
01:41When you were a little kid,
01:43did you train at the centralised training centre of the federation
01:47or at your own club or team?
01:49No, it was not to do with the federation.
01:52When I was really young, I was in a normal, very small club.
02:00Then I went to a bigger club,
02:02but nothing with the federation.
02:04Then the federation, we had to go there two or three times a year
02:10so they can see the young kids.
02:13It's the same also now.
02:15But I was always without the federation.
02:23Yannick, a couple of slips today on the grass.
02:26How are you feeling physically after that?
02:28Physically, I feel good.
02:32The first round is always a bit more slippery.
02:36I felt like when we were walking on court,
02:39it was a bit, not raining, but there was a little bit,
02:43so it was tough to get the court dry.
02:47I felt like from the moment when we closed the roof,
02:51the court was much drier and it was a bit easier to move.
02:56But the first rounds, when the grass is new,
03:02it's obviously a bit slippery, as we know.
03:06Everyone is a bit more struggling,
03:08so I feel good physically.
