00:26Meet Lolo Istanislao Valdes,

00:28He is one of the founders of the Villases Municipal Library in Pangasinan.

00:32Every week, he doesn't read less than three books that he borrows from his grandfather.

00:37His favorite books are history and literature books.

00:42And his favorite authors are...

00:50Partida.

00:51He doesn't have reading glasses yet despite his age of 77.

00:57His love for reading started when he was in college.

01:01He said it's not just for fun.

01:04It's also a way for him to keep his mind clear.

01:09When we were kids, we used to read.

01:11When you were young, your mind was so fresh.

01:14His only wife, who is a retired teacher, is with him at home.

01:20Because their three children already have jobs in other countries.

01:25It's a good thing we have a library.
