The Texas Rangers haven't received much good news on the injury front this season, but that changed on Monday when the club got positive results from the MRI on Corey Seager's left wrist. Team GM Chris Young talked to the GBag Nation about that and more in his interview on Monday.

00:00We have Rangers General Manager Chris Young with us here on the DNM leasing hotline.
00:19CY, thanks so much for the time, as always.
00:21Tough road trip there, but ends on a high note last night.
00:25What are your takeaways from the last two series?
00:29Well, certainly it was a tough road trip.
00:31Very disappointed to come home 1-6 on the trip.
00:35I did feel like we were in the majority of the games.
00:38With a couple of breaks here and there, really could have come away from that trip 4-3.
00:43Instead, we come away with a 1-6 trip.
00:46It was disappointing for everybody.
00:49That said, we did finish on a high note.
00:51What I'd like to see is we have an off day today.
00:53Hopefully we can regroup and come out and really start playing our best baseball, this homestand.
00:59Because we're at a point in the season where we have to see it start to happen.
01:02Speaking of the high note, it was pretty amazing what Wyatt Langford did with that cycle.
01:06How special was that?
01:07Really, that entire month of June for him was incredible.
01:10Yeah, Wyatt, it really speaks to the aptitude the player has and just all the adjustments he's made.
01:18He had a tremendous spring training, got off to a little bit of a slow start, had the hamstring injury.
01:22Was able to take a breather and reset some things, both mentally and mechanically and physically as well.
01:29He came back and just had a tremendous June.
01:32He continues to get better and better.
01:34I really believe he's just scratching the surface of what he's capable of.
01:37Last night on Sunday Night Baseball was pretty special.
01:40I was so happy for him, happy for all of our guys.
01:42It was fun to see the guys celebrate Wyatt, excited for him.
01:46I think everybody recognized how special that was.
01:48Hopefully, it's something that we can build on.
01:50Doley certainly had a stronger road trip as well.
01:53Does it seem like he's starting to turn things around at the play?
01:56Yeah, there's no doubt.
01:57There's no doubt the bat quality has improved and we've seen him mechanically fix a couple things.
02:02His approach has been very, very good.
02:04He had some bad luck as well.
02:05There were some hard hit balls right at guys on the trip, but he had really, really solid at bats.
02:10It was exciting to see the progress he's made.
02:13He's such a competitor.
02:15He's such a worker.
02:17If we can get Doley going and we have Wyatt going and you get a couple of these other guys going,
02:22I love our offense.
02:23I love what we're capable of.
02:24But obviously, it's been a slow start to the season, a slow first half of the season.
02:28So, really excited about the progress Adolis made and I'm really hopeful.
