Nel 1992 torna ancora a Sanremo tra le nuove proposte, classificandosi nuovamente al secondo posto, con il brano Come una Turandot.Nel 1993 venne eliminata all'ultima selezione dall'elenco dei Big del Festival di Sanremo.l 15 dicembre 2012 le venne conferito il premio "One Media Awards" per i 25 anni di carriera.Il 18 marzo 2019 viene posizionata la stella di Irene Fargo nella Canada Walk of Fame (Foto).morì la sera del 1º luglio 2022 a Chiari, all'età di 59 anni.

Invitations to various Rai and Fininvest broadcasts made her one of the revelations of the year. In 1992 she returned to Sanremo again among the new proposals, again ranking in second place, with the song Come una Turandot. In 1993 she was eliminated in the last selection from the list of the Bigs of the Sanremo Festival. On 15 December 2012 she was awarded the "One Media Awards" award for 25 years of career.
