Spotted Feral Bunny Nanaimo April 18, 2009

These lovely rabbits were once somebody's pets. The baby bunnies looked so appealing, but when they grew up, the fickle humans tired of them and their needs, and tossed them away like garbage to fend for themselves. Maybe your neighbour, your cousin or that friend of a friend of a friend left their so-called pet here in Nanaimo. Maybe it was you. Thoughtless, selfish, cruel! But hey, the eagles and the ravens and all the other predators thank you for the easy pickings. They at least can appreciate your careless offerings....
