00:00Montinlupa Police arrested the most wanted man for molesting and molesting his own child.

00:14The accused is ready to face the consequences of his crime.

00:17EJ Gomez has the first news.

00:19This 36-year-old man was not able to escape the police and served an arrest warrant for molesting and raping his victim, his own 16-year-old child.

00:35The accused was arrested in Barangay Putatan, Montinlupa City early this Friday, January of the year the crime took place.

00:44This is the rank number one, top 10 most wanted person of the station level of Montinlupa City for July 2024, 3rd quarter.

00:54The accused admitted to the crime.

00:56Actually, ma'am, we were sleeping next to each other. My child was next to me. I was drinking, ma'am.

01:05Their family agreed to settle the matter a year after the incident.

01:08But he continued with his illegal case that was filed in March this year.

01:12The accused admitted to the crime.

01:15Yes, ma'am. That's why I didn't escape, ma'am. I'm ready to defend myself. I'm ready to answer for what I should have answered.

01:23The accused was jailed in the detention facility of Montinlupa Police Station.

01:28He also has two counts of lascivious conduct under Section 154 of Section 7610 and two counts of qualified rape under Article 266 of RTC or Revised Penal Code

01:41as amended by RA 8353 or what we call Anti-Rape Law of 1997.
