00:00MUA MP Said Sadiq Said Abdul Rahman has hit his RM100,000 target within 48 hours of his
00:10Langka MUA protest run.
00:13His 200km run began in MUA on Friday and would end at the Parliament Building in Kuala Lumpur.
00:20Said Sadiq had targeted to raise RM100,000 for community service centres in MUA because
00:26he had not received any allocation from the government.
00:30In a post on social media today, he announced that the total of RM101,006 was raised in
00:3748 hours.
00:39He also said he had completed 124km of his run and had a little bit more to go before
00:46he reached Parliament.
00:48Said Sadiq said he complied with the government's requests to negotiate for an allocation and
00:53had met Deputy Prime Minister Fadila Yusuf twice.
00:57However, these discussions have not yielded any results so far.
