00:42Dina and Sean are among the 70 kids of Barangay San Antonio, Pasig City

00:49who joined the play and pray.

00:52According to Barangay Chairman, Thomas Raymond Lissing,

00:55their goal is to not let their youth go to waste.

01:00Their faith and trust in God should be strong.

01:04And most of all, they should stay away from bad vices and immoral things.

01:11Our objective is to guide our youth,

01:16especially to avoid vices.

01:20And of course, their growth, their choices in life,

01:26should be with the barangay in making the right decisions.

01:32In this time, the youth are too focused on their gadgets.

01:37They forget to pray to our Lord.

01:43They started this last February.

01:45But now, it is formally launched as a unit of the barangay

01:51in the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking

01:56where the Department of the Interior and Local Government or DILG has the authority.

02:02Of course, we tested if we will be able to sustain it

02:05and get the cooperation of the youth of Barangay San Antonio.

02:09And thankfully, after five months, we are still here.

02:13The barangay is also open for collaboration.

02:16This month, they are hosting the Pasig City Anti-Drug Abuse Office.

02:22We are very open to collaboration.

02:24In fact, since we launched last February, up until today, the month of June,

02:31we've had a total of three collaborators already

02:34that have been facilitating the Pray and Play Program.

02:38Barangay San Antonio is hoping that through their Pray and Play Program,

02:44their youth will be able to embrace humanity.

02:48And above all, they will also become good sportsmen.
