नगर पालिका व नगर परिषद में होगा सीमा विस्तार

ब्यावर. नगरीय विकास एवं स्वायत्त शासन विभाग के प्रभारी मंत्री झाबर सिंह खर्रा ने कहा कि प्रदेश में जितनी भी नगर पालिका, नगर परिषद वर्तमान में पुराने समय की है। वहां बहुत सी जगह सीमा विस्तार की आवश्यकता है। गत सरकार के कार्यकाल में बनी 86 नगर पालिकाओं का परीक्षण करवाया जा रहा है। आमजन को योजनाओं को बेहतर लाभ मिले एवं क्षेत्र के विकास की गति बनी रह सके इसके लिए पूरे प्रयास रहेंगे। नगरीय विकास एवं स्वायत्त शासन विभाग के प्रभारी मंत्री झाबर सिंह खर्रा बुधवार को राजकीय अमृतकौर चिकित्सालय के निरीक्षण के दौरान पत्रिका से बातचीत कर रहे थे।
उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस सरकार ने जाते-जाते 86 नई नगर पालिकाएं बनाई। इनमें बहुत सी नगर पालिकाएं आदिवासी क्षेत्र में है। दो-दो-तीन-तीन ग्राम पंचायतों को मिलाकर बनाई गई। लगभग 20-25 जगह के लोग उनसे मिले है। उन लोगों की मांग आई कि नगर पालिका बनने के बाद मनरेगा का रोजगार छिन गया। प्रधानमंत्री आवास में पीछे चले गए। ऐसे में वापस ग्राम पंचायत बनाई जाए। मंत्री का मानना है कि नरेगा व प्रधानमंत्री आवास की सबसे ज्यादा आवश्यकता तो निश्चित रुप से आदिवासी क्षेत्र में ही है। इसका वापस परीक्षण करवा रहे हैं। जितने भी नगर पालिका, नगर परिषद वर्तमान में पुराने समय की है, वहां बहुत सी जगह सीमा विस्तार की आवश्यकता है। सीमा विस्तार किया जाएगा। इसका मामला भी विचाराधीन है। वार्डों के परिसीमन का मामला भी विचाराधीन है। नगर विकास व भवन से संबंधित नियमों में भी सुधार किया जाएगा। इसको लेकर कमेटी काम कर रही है।
