00:06to share assistance to our farmers and fishermen who were affected not only by El Niño

00:14but also by the eruption of Volcano Canlaon.

00:18The President first visited our fellowmen in Bacolod City in Negros Occidental

00:24where aside from financial assistance, he was also able to distribute various goods to the farmers and fishermen.

00:31Here, the Executive Board recognized the rapid assistance of LGUs and government agencies

00:39to mitigate the effects of natural disasters.

00:44Next, the President visited Dumaguete City in Negros Occidental

00:49to give assistance to the 10,000 farmers and fishermen there.

00:54We are very thankful to the LGUs for their unwavering assistance to the President

01:00and for their personal care for their condition.

01:05Fellowmen, I am excited to see the outcome of all of this

01:11as well as the effects of this on the economy of your locality

01:16especially now that you are part of the new Negros Island Region.
