Project: SAUDADE

Brazilians have a word for this feeling. Saudade. It’s more than homesickness could describe. And it’s more than just missing someone far away. It’s a longing for the relationships we have with people who aren’t with us. It’s an appreciation for the times we used to share with them, and a gratitude that one day, we will see them again. As international students, this is a familiar feeling, and we approached this project with the idea of providing a way to help extend our reach beyond our screens, and into the physical world. To help us stay connected with our people.
