00:52Really like the Evercade, been enjoying probably seeing some of the live streams and of course
00:54videos we've done of Evercade games and cartridges and systems, showing our haul, live streams

01:14Hello and thank you for tuning in to the Evercade second anniversary show.
01:20The Evercade launched from May 2020 and in the last two years, the passion of our community
01:26and the reception from media and influencers has been extraordinary.
01:30When we launched the Evercade back then, we had our belief that people felt the same way
01:35as us about physical cartridges.
01:38We love physical cartridges.
01:39In all the world of digital downloads, we believed that purely physical system could
01:42make a noise and with your help, it did.
01:46Physical is alive and well and the future of Evercade is incredibly bright.
01:50Our ambition at Evercade was always to bring back physical cartridges and rediscover the
01:56passion we had when we were young of rushing home and opening a box, leafing through a
02:01manual and plugging our game into our systems and just playing there and then.
02:06We discovered and then connected with a passionate group of gamers who felt the same way we did.
02:11Yeah, the arcade stuff was cool.
02:12Some of them looking for retro experiences and some looking for new games.
02:16Yeah, the Indie Heroes was neat.
02:17Soon that spread to new fans who experienced these games and this style of gaming for the
02:22very first time.
02:24Because of all this, it's been a wonderful two years and in this show, we're going to
02:28look back on some of the history of the Evercade and bring you more information on what's coming

19:40The new screen is an 800 by 480 IPS screen
19:44for much greater resolution and a brighter display
19:47with incredible viewing angles,

19:51The Evercade EXP will be the first retro handheld
19:54in nearly 20 years,
19:56designed with vertical screen orientation in mind.
