00:00:00Hello, Ranger.
00:00:12Hello, Silver.
00:00:24A fiery horse with a speed of light, a cloud of dust, and a hearty hi-yo, Silver.
00:00:31The Lone Ranger.
00:00:36Hi-yo, Silver! Away!
00:00:40With his faithful Indian companion, Tonto, the daring and resourceful mask rider of the plains, led the fight for law and order in the early west.
00:00:49Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear. The Lone Ranger rides again!
00:00:55Before his coming, this new land of the west was a wild, unruly territory, into which brave American pioneers moved in covered wagons, on horseback, and afoot.
00:01:06Theirs was a rigid existence, for they not only had to settle and build, they had to fight.
00:01:11Here beyond the reach of law and order, might was right. The best shot was the best man.
00:01:17Born of necessity in this chaotic period of westward expansion, an organization was developed to combat the evil forces of the times.
00:01:24An organization called the Texas Rangers.
00:01:28Ever on the job of maintaining law and order, six Texas Rangers ride alertly across a western landscape.
00:01:34All are courageous, straight-shooting men. At their head is a stranger, a half-breed scout, who one day earlier had appeared at a ranger encampment, suffering from a severe wound.
00:01:47There you are, Collins. Nothing to worry about now.
00:01:50Thanks, Captain. I should worry about a wound. I'm lucky to be alive.
00:01:54You're right. Very few people are after those outlaws who struck.
00:01:58So they killed everybody at the trading post.
00:02:01Everyone. Mr. Simpson, his wife, the young Indian helper, even old Pete McHenry.
00:02:06That's too bad.
00:02:08Outlaws. Any of them get shot?
00:02:10Four of them were in pretty bad shape. They had to be tied to their horses to ride away.
00:02:14I got two of them myself.
00:02:16Too bad you couldn't have hit more of them.
00:02:18Which way did they go?
00:02:19They rode up north, into the Badlands.
00:02:21That's pretty rough country.
00:02:23But with wounded men in tow, they can't travel very fast.
00:02:27We've got a chance to catch them.
00:02:28They have a five-hour start. Even if you overtook them, they outnumber you.
00:02:32Mister, the Rangers are used to long odds.
00:02:34How about you? We could use your help in locating their trail if you feel strong enough to ride.
00:02:38I don't need two arms to guide a horse. Besides, I've a score to even up to.
00:02:43I'll go alone.
00:02:44Good man.
00:02:45Boys, pack up these rations. We've got ten minutes to be in the South.
00:02:48Right. Bill, send Captain Reed. He's leading your detachment.
00:02:51Yes, sir.
00:02:53So came the half-breed Cullens, who rides with a detachment of Rangers after the most ruthless outlaw band in the West, the notorious Cavendish Gang.
00:03:08It's their trail, Reed.
00:03:09Yeah.
00:03:11It indicates they're riding slowly as we think it.
00:03:14Yes, it does.
00:03:17Let's go, boys.
00:03:41We've gained on them. These tracks can't be more than three hours old.
00:03:46They're heading off into that canyon.
00:03:48Yeah, look that way.
00:03:50Have you been in this vicinity before?
00:03:52Couple of times.
00:03:54I think it might be a good idea for us to check that canyon from the rim first.
00:03:58I'll go ahead and scout the place.
00:03:59One man would be a lot less noticeable than all of us going.
00:04:03All right. We'll wait here and give the horses a rest.
00:04:05Depart, men.
00:04:07All right. We'll wait here and give the horses a rest.
00:04:09Depart, men.
00:04:37Hold it, mister.
00:04:39Reed.
00:04:40Hello, Whitey.
00:04:42Oh, it's you.
00:04:44The new man, huh?
00:04:46Yeah, it's me.
00:04:47Yeah, it's me.
00:04:48How's the plan going?
00:04:49All right.
00:04:50The Rangers are back at the canyon entrance.
00:04:51The Rangers are back at the canyon entrance.
00:04:52You think they'll keep on coming?
00:04:53You think they'll keep on coming?
00:04:54Sure. Why not?
00:04:55Sure. Why not?
00:04:56They're pretty smart umbers, you know.
00:04:57They're pretty smart umbers, you know.
00:04:58Yeah.
00:04:59We've tried to get them before.
00:05:00We've tried to get them before.
00:05:01Didn't pan out.
00:05:02I wasn't with you then.
00:05:03I wasn't with you then.
00:05:04Where's Cavendish?
00:05:05He's up there a ways.
00:05:06He's up there a ways.
00:05:07Leave your horse here.
00:05:08Leave your horse here.
00:05:09All right.
00:05:18I knew they'd fall for my little trap, Collins.
00:05:23That bullet I put in your arm really convinced them.
00:05:25That bullet I put in your arm really convinced them.
00:05:26Yeah, Cavendish.
00:05:27Yeah, Cavendish.
00:05:28It sure did.
00:05:29It sure did.
00:05:30When I get through around here, it's going to be a long time
00:05:31When I get through around here, it's going to be a long time
00:05:32before any Ranger outfit patrols in this section of the country.
00:05:33before any Ranger outfit patrols in this section of the country.
00:05:35You got one out around that corner.
00:05:37Open your mouth a little.
00:05:38Open your mouth a little.
00:05:39Do you want to get back in line?
00:05:40Do you want to get back in line?
00:05:41This tank ain't green...
00:05:42This tank ain't green.
00:05:43It's for good and evil only.
00:05:44It's for good and evil only.

00:08:36OK man, hold it, hold it
00:09:36OK man, hold it, hold it
00:10:02Good, go on back to your horse, we'll wait for you up here
00:10:21I thought he was one of us, chief
00:10:23He was
00:10:24Any man who would betray those rangers might be just as quick to turn on us, I figured
00:10:27And no one does that
00:10:29It's gonna be a nice little reminder for anybody who tries to stop me from now on
00:10:32Yeah
00:10:33Now let's get out of here, we've got a lot of work to do in Colby
00:10:52Many hours after the Cavendish gang has left the ambush scene
00:10:55A lone figure moves painfully over the rock-strewn ground
00:10:59A small spring gurgling in a shady cave is his destination
00:11:03He alone of the six Texas Rangers still lives
00:11:06His one aim is to reach water and shade
00:11:09Desperately he fights off the weakness from loss of blood
00:11:12Which threatens to halt his progress
00:11:14It is deathly hot
00:11:16The sun beats down unmercifully
00:11:19Ahead is that cooling, life-giving water
00:11:22If his strength can only last
00:11:26Foot by foot, sheer torture, he pulls himself along
00:11:35There, out of the hot glare of the sun
00:11:38Only a short distance farther
00:11:49There's the spring, now he's bandanna
00:11:55There, cold water never felt better
00:11:59Never seemed sweeter than now
00:12:01A hundred yards away, Colin stirs
00:12:04Unaware of the existence of the spring and the Ranger who lies beside him
00:12:08He too miraculously has escaped a mortal wound from a Cavendish bullet
00:12:13And he too, like the Ranger
00:12:15Knows that death lurks in the hot rays of the sun
00:12:19He must seek shelter somewhere, quickly
00:12:21Within the confines of the canyon
00:12:26Weakly he stumbles off to find shade, to nurse his wounds
00:12:31Then is it timed by fate
00:12:32A third figure, an Indian, enters the hot canyon
00:12:37Surprised, he sees the results of the Cavendish gang's handiwork
00:12:41Texas Rangers, sprawled in attitudes of violent death
00:12:46These were men to whom heroic deeds were a part of each day's work
00:12:51And now their work was done
00:12:55Then by chance, the native spies the figure lying beside the distant pool
00:12:59He moves forward
00:13:11I still need not hurt you
00:13:16Why, you, you Kimo Sabe
00:13:19Kimo Sabe?
00:13:22That sounds familiar
00:13:24That's right, Kimo Sabe
00:13:26You trustee Scout
00:13:27Trustee Scout?
00:13:29Yes, Ranger
00:13:31Long time back, when we both young
00:13:34Me remember time Indian camp burned
00:13:37Renegade Indians raided settlement when men of tribe away
00:13:40Killed my mother
00:13:42Killed my father
00:13:43Men of tribe away
00:13:44Killed my mother
00:13:45My sisters
00:13:46They leave me for dead
00:13:47You found me
00:13:49Nurse me back to health
00:13:50Save me from dying
00:13:52When me well, you give me horse to go find my father
00:13:55Me take horse only when you accept gift
00:13:57My ring, it make good luck
00:13:59Me call you Kimo Sabe
00:14:02It mean trustee Scout
00:14:04Me never forget you
00:14:06You remember now?
00:14:07Yes
00:14:09You, you're Tonto
00:14:11That's right, me Tonto
00:14:13Now, me take care of you
00:14:19Immediately, the Indian Tonto unsaddle his horse
00:14:21And set up a camp at the entrance of the cave
00:14:23Near the pool and the injured man
00:14:27The Ranger's wounds are cleansed
00:14:28And expertly dressed by the Indian
00:14:30Who calls upon all the law he knows
00:14:32To ease his white friend's suffering
00:14:34Several days of patient vigil
00:14:36Tender care and careful feeding
00:14:38Bring results
00:14:40The Ranger gradually regains his strength
00:14:42He's going to live
00:14:44Tonto, I guess I drifted off again
00:14:48How long have I been here now?
00:14:50Three days, how you feel?
00:14:52Still a little weak
00:14:54The other Rangers, Tonto
00:14:56All dead
00:14:57Yes
00:14:58One of them, Captain Reed was my brother
00:15:01Too bad
00:15:03Rangers all fine men
00:15:05We didn't have a chance, Tonto
00:15:08It was a perfect ambush and double cross
00:15:11How did you happen to find me?
00:15:13Me hunt here in Canyon often
00:15:15Ride in here on scout or beyond
00:15:17Find Rangers and dead horse
00:15:19I see
00:15:20While you sleep, me bury other Rangers over there
00:15:24Make grave for men, bring belongings here
00:15:29That was good of you, Tonto
00:15:30Them brave men
00:15:32Yes, they were brave
00:15:34And they won't be forgotten
00:15:36I've spent a lot of time thinking
00:15:38For every one of those men
00:15:39I'm going to bring a hundred lawbreakers to justice
00:15:43I'll make that Cavendish gang
00:15:44And every criminal that I can find for that matter
00:15:47Regret the day those Rangers were killed
00:15:50Tonto, from this moment on
00:15:51I'm going to devote my life to establishing law and order
00:15:54In this new frontier
00:15:56To make the West a decent place to live
00:15:59That good
00:16:00But when Cavendish gang know you escape ambush
00:16:03You'll mark them
00:16:04They hunt you down, many against one
00:16:06Known is going to know I'm alive
00:16:09I'm supposed to be dead
00:16:10And I'm going to stay that way
00:16:13I'll hide my identity somehow
00:16:16I'll wear a disguise of some sort
00:16:18You mean like mask?
00:16:20That's it, Tonto
00:16:21From now on, I'll wear a mask
00:16:25Let's see
00:16:26There ought to be some material here I can use
00:16:30Here, this
00:16:33My brother's vest
00:16:34It belongs to one of the bravest of them all
00:16:36Let me help you, Masao
00:16:37You rest now
00:16:39All right, Tonto
00:16:41Thanks
00:16:48There, face wounds all healed now
00:16:50Let me have the mask
00:16:56There, it fits perfectly
00:16:58Good job, Tonto
00:17:01Here, hat
00:17:03Here, hat
00:17:04Me washing stream
00:17:05Guy in sun
00:17:06Make whiter
00:17:08Thanks, Tonto
00:17:10Here, gun
00:17:11To kill bad men
00:17:13I'm not going to do any killing
00:17:14You'll not defend yourself?
00:17:16Oh, I'll shoot if I have to
00:17:18But I'll shoot the wound
00:17:19Not the kill
00:17:21A man must die
00:17:22It's up to the law to decide that
00:17:24Not the person behind the six-shooter
00:17:26That's right, Kimosabe
00:17:27Well, there's just one more thing to be done
00:17:29What's that?
00:17:30Dig another grave
00:17:32Out there
00:17:34Oh, that's poor
00:17:36That'll be my grave
00:17:47There, just like others
00:17:49That's good
00:17:51Only you, Tonto, know I'm alive
00:17:53To the world, I'll be buried here
00:17:55Beside my brother and my friends
00:17:58Forever
00:17:59You all alone now
00:18:00Last man
00:18:02You are a lone ranger
00:18:04Yes, Tonto
00:18:05I am
00:18:07A lone ranger
00:18:09Kimosabe
00:18:10Me help you fight out law
00:18:12But, Tonto
00:18:13Don't you have a family?
00:18:14Anyone?
00:18:15No
00:18:16Me lone like you
00:18:18Me want law here too
00:18:19For all
00:18:20All right, Tonto
00:18:22You'll be a lot of help
00:18:24We'll ride together
00:18:25Me glad, Kimosabe
00:18:26Me fight good for you
00:18:27Take cover, Tonto
00:18:32That's Collins
00:18:33A man that led us into ambush
00:18:34Why him shoot?
00:18:35Undoubtedly, he's after your horse
00:18:37Collins must have been deserted by the outlaws
00:18:39He's probably been making his way to that vantage point for some time now
00:18:43Why him go there, Kimosabe?
00:18:44He knows the only way to get Scout is to kill us
00:18:47He's well protected up there
00:18:48What we do now?
00:18:49I'm going to keep him back under cover
00:18:51While you make a run for Scout
00:18:54Take Scout into the cave
00:18:55Collins won't be able to see you from there
00:18:56Me too
00:18:57I'll follow Tonto as soon as you're safe
00:18:59All right, run
00:19:26Did you hit him?
00:19:27No, Tonto
00:19:28I didn't try
00:19:29We're going to capture him alive
00:19:30That hard?
00:19:31Him in good spot
00:19:33Yes, but I have an idea how we can do it
00:19:35You start up the cliff on that side
00:19:37First tie up Scout

00:25:35Silver White
00:25:38Silver
00:25:41That would be a name for him
00:25:44Here, Silver
00:25:46Come back, big fellow
00:25:48Come on, Silver
00:25:51Come back, big fellow
00:25:53Come on, Silver
00:25:58May get brighter now, him come back
00:26:00No, he wouldn't take a bit
00:26:03I'll use a hackamore for the time being
00:26:13Won't be as strange to his head as a bridle
00:26:21There
00:26:26There, Silver
00:26:28You only knew how we need you
00:26:30Oh
00:26:32Oh, boy
00:26:34Oh, oh
00:26:36Oh, big fellow
00:26:38Ready?
00:26:42We're going to do a lot of riding together
00:26:44We're going to be pals, aren't we, Silver?
00:26:48A few days later, after the horse has recovered his strength
00:26:51The Lone Ranger tightens the saddle on the back of the White Stallion
00:26:55Quickly, the masked man mounts
00:26:57And for the first time in his life
00:26:59Silver bears weight upon his back
00:27:03Soon, under expert and gentle guidance
00:27:06The horse quiets and responds quickly to the Lone Ranger's lead
00:27:15Later, the hackamore is exchanged for a bridle and bit
00:27:18Here is no conflict between animal and master
00:27:21Here instead is a partnership between horse and rider
00:27:25The Lone Ranger and Silver accept each other as equals
00:27:32The Lone Ranger and Silver accept each other as equals
00:28:03Yes, Tanu
00:28:05They were headed toward Colby
00:28:07Then, too, there's an old timer there I want to see
00:28:09By the name of Jim Blaine
00:28:11All right, let's go
00:28:33Tanu, Jim Blaine's place
00:28:35Looks like he's got company
00:28:37We'll wait until the caller leaves before we drop in
00:28:42It's nice seeing you, Judge
00:28:44We'll see you next week, Jim
00:28:49Look, the side of the house
00:29:03Come on
00:29:08Got him, Chief
00:29:10Good
00:29:11But he winked me, is he out?
00:29:13Hold
00:29:14He won't be staying alive for hours
00:29:15Trade guns
00:29:19Say, you're bleeding bad
00:29:21Yeah, I must have hit an artery
00:29:22You get on the road pronto and spread the news to the chute
00:29:24Then get me a doc, I'll meet you at the Glen
00:29:26All right
00:29:27Let's go
00:29:28We got to clear out of here fast
00:29:59Tanu, Jim is dead
00:30:01How's Jim?
00:30:04He's had a hard knock
00:30:06I thought maybe murderers killed Jim, too
00:30:09They could have, Tanu
00:30:11For some reason, they wanted Jim to be found here alive
00:30:16He's coming, too
00:30:17Help me carry him to the porch
00:30:22So that's why I'm after Cavendish, Jim
00:30:24The reason for the mask
00:30:26My real identity is to be kept a secret
00:30:29Known only to the three of us
00:30:31Well, I'll be hanged
00:30:34You sure got a job cut out for yourself, Reed
00:30:36I mean, Lone Ranger
00:30:38I'll help him any way I can
00:30:40I was hoping you'd join us, Jim
00:30:42And live up on our old silver mine
00:30:44Oh, you're mighty kind to an old ex-Ranger
00:30:47Who used to nurse me, did you, boy?
00:30:49Sure would like to
00:30:51Never did like living here trying to farm, only...
00:30:54Only what?
00:30:56Well, I can't run out now with the owner of the bank
00:30:59Poor old Judge Knox lying dead back there
00:31:02Folks might think that I did it
00:31:04Why, they might start blaming me
00:31:06For all the rest of the killings that's going on in town
00:31:08More murders, Jim?
00:31:10Yes, lots of them
00:31:12First, it was Glenn Peters
00:31:14He owns the newspaper
00:31:16Then Biff Anderson
00:31:18Postmaster and telegraph man combined
00:31:21Then Max Stross, the hotel man
00:31:23And a couple others, too
00:31:26Why, it seems everybody important in Colby is getting shot
00:31:30The sheriff's plum going crazy
00:31:32Did you recognize the man who killed the judge?
00:31:35Couldn't mistake him
00:31:37It was Butch Cavendish
00:31:39Now, who'd you say you're after?
00:31:41Cavendish?
00:31:43He must be doing these killings in Colby
00:31:45For a very special reason
00:31:47Yeah, but why?
00:31:49Most likely he wanted the murders to look like a local affair
00:31:53I'm certain, Jim
00:31:54We'll upset his plans
00:31:55If you're not around to accept the blame
00:31:57For the judge's death
00:31:59That old silver mine of ours
00:32:01Will be a perfect hideout for you
00:32:03Yes, it would
00:32:06By Crikey, I guess you're right
00:32:09It would be best if I became scarce around here for a bit
00:32:13I'll go along with you
00:32:15That's fine
00:32:16How's his knee, Tonto?
00:32:18Like better now
00:32:19Good
00:32:21Help me put Jim on Silver's back
00:32:25A few hours later
00:32:29After a tedious ride over winding trails and unknown paths
00:32:33The lone ranger, Jim and Tonto
00:32:35Approached the site of the secret silver mine
00:32:44This is it, Tonto
00:32:45Where are mine?
00:32:46Don't say I drew you, Jim
00:32:48Fooled you just like everybody else
00:32:51Come on, I'll show you
00:32:54Here we are, Tonto
00:32:57It must have been ten years ago
00:32:59That my brother, old Jim, here and I
00:33:01Discovered the mine and built this shack
00:33:03Nine years ago this spring
00:33:05Still no see mine
00:33:08Over here, Tonto
00:33:11It's under the bunk
00:33:15There
00:33:16Yep
00:33:17It's under the bunk
00:33:22There
00:33:23Yep, one of the richest veins of silver
00:33:25Ever found in these here parts
00:33:27I never thought I'd care about digging up the ore
00:33:30That is until now
00:33:32Watch it there, too
00:33:33That's the spring we were cleaning out
00:33:35When we found the vein
00:33:37We drained the water to get to the silver ore
00:33:43Jim, you and I can fix up this place
00:33:45While Tonto goes into town for the sheriff
00:33:48His name is Taylor, isn't it?
00:33:50Yep, old two-gun is still on the job
00:33:53All right, Kemosabe
00:33:54When you find the sheriff
00:33:55Tell him you know where Jim Blaine is
00:33:58He'll come with you
00:33:59That's good, me go now
00:34:04This shack seems to be in pretty good shape
00:34:06Obviously, snug as a bug
00:34:08All I want out of this place
00:34:09Is enough silver for some immediate needs
00:34:12Other than that, all you can dig is yours
00:34:14Oh, now I couldn't
00:34:16You're entitled to it, Jim
00:34:18You'll have to do all the work
00:34:20You know, I can refine a little ore right here
00:34:25That's just what I want you to do, Jim
00:34:29Then in the future
00:34:30Whenever Tonto and I come back here
00:34:32We can get the pure metal for money and bullets
00:34:35Bullets?
00:34:36Yes
00:34:37I want some of the ore cast into silver bullets
00:34:40Foundation, what's the matter with lead bullets?
00:34:42They'll kill just as well as...
00:34:44You forget I told you
00:34:45I vowed never to shoot to kill
00:34:48Silver bullets will serve as sort of a symbol
00:34:51Tonto suggested the idea
00:34:53Symbol? Of what?
00:34:56A symbol which means justice by law
00:35:00I want it to become known to all who see the silver bullets
00:35:04That I live and fight only to see the eventual defeat
00:35:07And the proper punishment by law
00:35:09Of every criminal in the West
00:35:13By criminy
00:35:15I think you've got something there
00:35:17And I'll mold you all the silver bullets you want, Ranger
00:35:21But from what I know about this here country
00:35:25There'll be an awful lot of silver shot up before you're through
00:35:29I hope not, Jim
00:35:30We have a lot of metal here for that purpose
00:35:33If we need it
00:35:42Look at those dirty killers
00:35:43I wish I knew where to look for them first
00:35:45Now Pete, you look up in that old creek section for Jim
00:35:49Lamb, go get Creel and fetch the Doc's body
00:35:53And bring it back into town
00:35:54This is a fine time for Doc Drummond to be missing
00:35:57Jim Blaine disappeared
00:35:59I never suspected he'd ever have anything to do with these killings
00:36:02Sheriff, go away and you can't see I'm busy
00:36:06Now Bill Keefe says that Jim's horse is still at his farm
00:36:10So he must have gone off on foot
00:36:11Now he can't be very...
00:36:12Sheriff, me know where Jim Blaine is
00:36:15Look Indian, will you go away please
00:36:18Can't you see I'm busy with these...
00:36:21What'd you say?
00:36:22Me know where Jim Blaine is
00:36:24Him want to see you
00:36:25You know where he is, why didn't you say so?
00:36:27Where is he?
00:36:28Me not tell
00:36:30What do you mean by that? You just said you knew
00:36:32You come, me take you to Jim
00:36:34Now wait a minute
00:36:35How do I know that you know where Jim is?
00:36:37You don't know, but you follow me
00:36:40Jim want to talk to you about Judge Knox killing
00:36:43Bet he does all right
00:36:45Yeah, and I want to talk to him too
00:36:47Hank, you and I are a saddle up
00:36:48We're going to follow this engine
00:36:49No one come, only you
00:36:52Now look, you don't think I'd be silly enough
00:36:54to go with you alone, do you?
00:36:56Me think so
00:36:57You brave law man, want to solve mystery
00:37:00If you're right, well it is right
00:37:04How long ride is it?
00:37:06Not far for a tough sheriff
00:37:08Two hours away
00:37:11All right, engine, you lead the way
00:37:13Don't forget, any funny business?
00:37:16Hank, keep an eye on things when I come back
00:37:18All right, two guns
00:37:30Just a minute, stranger
00:37:31Found the gun, Sheriff, I can explain
00:37:33Howdy, two guns
00:37:35Jim, what the Sam Hill's going on here?
00:37:37Who are these people? Who's this masked man?
00:37:40What about Judge Knox shooting?
00:37:42Somebody's got a heap of explaining to do
00:37:47And after the killers knocked me out
00:37:49And changed guns with me
00:37:50My friend and his engine pal brought me here
00:37:56It's a very interesting story, Jim
00:37:58What's more interesting maybe is that
00:38:00You've convinced me the masked man here
00:38:02Is fighting on the right side of the law
00:38:04I'm glad you're convinced, Sheriff
00:38:06So Butch Cavendish is the judge's murderer, huh?
00:38:09Yep, and right now he's somewhere in this here vicinity
00:38:12Wounded with my bullet in him
00:38:14Wounded, huh?
00:38:16Say, maybe that explains something
00:38:19Well, Doc Drummond's the only doc in these parts
00:38:21And he's missing
00:38:22Ten to one, he's been fetched to fix up Cavendish
00:38:24Yeah, problem now is
00:38:25Where's Cavendish hiding out?
00:38:27He left a trail leading away from Jim's farm
00:38:30I think I might be able to follow it, Sheriff
00:38:33Good, I'll get some men from town
00:38:34That'll take too much time
00:38:35It would be quicker for you to come with me now
00:38:38Tonno can ride to town
00:38:40Me do, then follow your trail
00:38:42All right, engine
00:38:43See my man Creel at the office
00:38:45He'll get some men
00:38:47Watch that lake, Jim
00:39:06Look here
00:39:14Wagon tracks
00:39:16Cavendish was followed by someone in a wagon
00:39:18And a horseman riding alongside of it
00:39:21Those tracks were made by Doc Drummond's rig
00:39:23He's got the only narrow rims around here
00:39:26So far, so good
00:39:27Let's go
00:39:36Doc, take it easy
00:39:38Well, I'm doing the best I can
00:39:43There it is
00:39:46All right, get on with the bandaging
00:39:48I'm in a hurry
00:39:49What's the matter?
00:39:50You scared of something like
00:39:52Maybe the Sheriff will find us?
00:39:54Why should I be?
00:39:55I'm getting ready
00:39:56I'm just like I did everybody else
00:39:57Of importance in Colby
00:39:59You mean to say that you're responsible
00:40:00For all those murders
00:40:01That have happened in the last week?
00:40:04Sure
00:40:05Might as well let you know
00:40:07You see, Doc, all the men
00:40:08That have stepped into the vacated positions
00:40:11Belong to my organization
00:40:13It's taken a lot of planning
00:40:14But we're just about set
00:40:15I'm taking over Colby
00:40:17Well, why are you telling me this?
00:40:19I'm going to be needing
00:40:20The sawbones in my organization
00:40:21And I've just decided
00:40:22You're going to be him
00:40:24Like blazes I am
00:40:25I'd die before I'd help a pack of coyotes like...
00:40:28What was that?
00:40:29Doggone Meg
00:40:31I think they heard us
00:40:32Somebody over there
00:40:34Give me that gun
00:40:35I'll cover the doc
00:40:36You boys get over there and find out
00:40:39Here they come
00:40:40Take cover
00:41:02Relax, Doc
00:41:04Whatever's going on out there
00:41:05My men will take care of it
00:41:32Hold it
00:41:38What's the blast, partner?
00:41:40Watch these men, Sheriff
00:41:41I'll go help the doc
00:41:45Jerry!
00:41:47Pike!
00:41:49What's going on?
00:41:51Answer!
00:41:54You go take a look
00:41:55I want to find out what's happening
00:41:56But make sure you don't get caught
00:41:58I'll be right back
00:41:59I'll be right back
00:42:00But don't run
00:42:01I've got this on your back
00:42:09Cavendish, drop that gun
00:42:13All right, Sheriff
00:42:14Bring in the others
00:42:20You all right, Doc?
00:42:21Yeah, I'm all right
00:42:22Who's the masked man?
00:42:24He's on the side of the law
00:42:26Well, this crook was going to take over Colby
00:42:28He admitted all those murders
00:42:29We know, Doc
00:42:30We overheard him
00:42:31Sheriff, you can take Cavendish to town in Doc's buggy
00:42:35These other three will tie up and put on their horses
00:42:38Doc, do you know where their mounts are?
00:42:40Yeah, it's behind the rocks over yonder
00:42:42Thanks
00:42:44Here, Doc
00:42:45Watch these all who's close
00:42:47While I tie them up
00:42:48Yeah, I hope they do make a move
00:42:51Especially this one
00:42:52Remember this, boys
00:42:54I'm not in jail yet
00:42:55Shut up
00:42:56Working your mouth is making a move
00:43:00Come on, Silver
00:43:08Silver
00:43:13What's wrong, Silver?
00:43:20Those are my men
00:43:22I knew they were due here about this time
00:43:27So you thought you had me, Sheriff
00:43:29Well, you haven't
00:43:32You, the Sawbones, and that masked man over there behind those rocks
00:43:35Can start counting the minutes you've got to live
00:43:37Beginning right now
00:43:41Silver, we're going to save the Doc and the Sheriff
00:43:47Come on, Silver
00:43:48Follow Silver away
00:44:00Sheriff, Sheriff
00:44:02Something's happened to the boy
00:44:19All right, boys, I got him
00:44:20Get him high, Sheriff
00:44:22Come on in, boys
00:44:23Let's go
00:44:24Let's go
00:44:25Let's go
00:44:26Let's go
00:44:27Get him high, Sheriff
00:44:29Come on in, men
00:44:30It's me, Cavendish
00:44:31The shooting's over
00:44:35Looks like we got here just in time, boss
00:44:37You did
00:44:38Tie these men up
00:44:39What goes on?
00:44:40I got winged after I shot Judge Knox
00:44:41The Sawbones there was treating me when the Sheriff and the masked man took things over
00:44:44Is that the hombre we seen riding off on the white horse?
00:44:46Yeah, which way did he go?
00:44:47Up the draw
00:44:48They're all tied up, boss
00:44:52Good
00:44:53I'll watch him
00:44:54You men get after that masked man
00:44:55Before he gets to Colby and spoils our plans
00:44:56And bring him back dead or alive
00:44:57You heard it, boys
00:44:58Let's travel
00:45:01Meanwhile, unaware of what has happened to the Lone Ranger since last he saw him
00:45:05Tonto has arrived in the town of Colby
00:45:07He's on his way to the Sheriff's office to ask the Sheriff's assistant, Alex Creel
00:45:11For more men to aid the Lone Ranger in tracking down Butch Cavendish
00:45:17The way you keep on cleaning that gun, Corey
00:45:19You must be figuring on using it soon
00:45:20Nothing like being prepared
00:45:22Right, a lot's been going on around Colby lately
00:45:24And the shooting's only just begun
00:45:26Creel says there's gonna be more of it tonight
00:45:31Which one of you is Sheriff's assistant?
00:45:33There's an officer in a red skin who comes looking for the Sheriff
00:45:35He's usually the other way around
00:45:37What do you want, Indian?
00:45:38Me want to see Creel
00:45:40At present, he's busy
00:45:41I'm handling his business
00:45:42What's on your mind?
00:45:44Sheriff Taylor sent me
00:45:45Him on trail of Butch Cavendish
00:45:47Asked for Creel to come with posse
00:45:49Oh, he did, huh?
00:45:50You're lying, Indian
00:45:51Everybody around here knows that Cavendish
00:45:53Gang is nowhere around here
00:45:55That's not so
00:45:56I see Cavendish myself
00:45:58You come, I'll show you a trail
00:46:00Will you listen to the red skin hoarding us around?
00:46:02I don't know what your game is, Indian
00:46:04But if Sheriff Taylor really sent you
00:46:06You'd have some kind of proof
00:46:07You follow Tonto
00:46:08You'll have plenty of proof
00:46:10Seems to me this red skin's getting a little ornery, Corey
00:46:12Shall I throw him in jail?
00:46:13No, let him go
00:46:15Don't come nosing around here again
00:46:16Or you won't get off so easy
00:46:18Creel left orders not to lead a posse anywhere
00:46:24Say, Corey, do you think he was on the level
00:46:26About the sheriff being on Cavendish's trail?
00:46:28Of course he was on the level
00:46:29Why do you think I signed to protect Cavendish?
00:46:31With all of our plans set for tonight
00:46:33We can't let the sheriff mess things up
00:46:34But if that Indian gets back to the sheriff
00:46:36And tells him that Creel...
00:46:37We're not gonna get back to the sheriff
00:46:38Because you're gonna see that he does
00:46:40Savvy?
00:46:41Oh, hi, Savvy
00:46:42You got nothing to worry about
00:47:23Nothing like making sure, Indian
00:47:54Tonto
00:48:10It's Tonto, Silver
00:48:12Tonto
00:48:16Me follow trail, Kemosabe
00:48:17Takes long time
00:48:18Where's the posse?
00:48:19No posse
00:48:20Sheriff's men in Colby
00:48:21Wouldn't send men with me
Dr.Drummond
Cavendish
Colby
00:52:48Colby?
Colby
Colby
Chef
Doc
Kemosabe
Tano
Sheriff
Creel
Keeler
Jesse
Corey
Sheriff
Cavendish
Creel
Doc Drummond
Town Street
Creel
Sir
Tonk
Doc Drummond
Killer

Biff Anderson
Doc?
