Senator Risa Hontiveros called out suspended Mayor Alice Guo for not attending today's Senate hearing on the raided Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hubs in Bamban, Tarlac, and Porac, Pampanga.
“Mayor Alice, or should I say, Guo Hua Ping, if you do not honor the subpoena, I will cite you in contempt. Pinaglalaruan n'yo ang batas, pinaglalaruan n'yo ang mga Pilipino,” Hontiveros said.
"This is not about racism or sinophobia. Gusto ko pong ipaalala sa mga nagsasabi nito na daan-daang Chinese citizens ang tinotorture sa Bamban at sa Porac. Mayroon na ngang pinatay. We are helping them, too." she said.
