00:00and we're dealing with some heat there. It's been good to see some storms at
00:03times though in the past few weeks in Tampa because they had kind of a dry
00:05spell. Yeah, they did all those days of heat there and we saw the moderate
00:09drought eventually turned into a severe drought. So now we have more moisture in
00:13place. Moisture sometimes signals storms so we can see a few of those here
00:16tonight. Also draped right along the gulf coast and numerous thunderstorms
00:20there. Very, very warm though. A low of 82. That is not window opening weather
00:25there in new Orleans tonight as we work our way here to Wednesday Raleigh up to
00:29the central arc, 10 degrees above the historical average. So in the midst of
00:33a heat wave there. Yeah, very steamy, very steamy international 94. We will
00:37have some scattered storms that begin to bring us some relief, but they really
00:41don't. The tail of the front just kind of brushes us in the southeast. It's
00:45more of an impact for the northeast. Yeah, that's right. So we go from
00:48Wednesday to thursday, we'll start to see the thunderstorm slide their way
00:51toward coastal communities from the outer banks down toward Jacksonville
00:54Beach, damaging winds and downpours will be the primary concerns here. And even
00:58behind this, it will still be very warm. So it's not going to be a an
01:02october preview by any stretch. We're locked into the heat as it's just like
01:06the tide. It might the heat may go away a little bit for a day after a front
01:11is shaved four or five degrees off. It's going to persist that right into
01:15the first full week of july. So let's trek our way off toward the west where
01:19we're talking about more heat. All right, the summer sizzler in the south
01:22central U. S. And you can see that there's some extra sinking air right
01:25over the central part of texas and that's going to be preventing many
01:29storms from forming. Therefore, we're just hot out there and temps are gonna
01:33be well above average. Some of you more than 10 degrees above the norm like in
01:36Oklahoma City, san Antonio, a little closer to the historical average
01:39numbers held down some toward Memphis. But boy, a lot of humidity out there
01:42and some soakers as well and into Dallas 101. That's eight degrees above
01:47the norm. We were looking at this. I think we've only had one day earlier
01:51this summer so far with 100 degree heat in Dallas. So we're doing it again
01:55tomorrow and and thursday. We may have a good shot at that too with
01:59consistent near 100 degree heat. They're building into north texas. That's
02:03right. A strong argument for the heat and we'll go even further west here to
02:06the west roast over the interior. The coastal zones will find some comfort.
02:11But boy, the deserts here, Borrego Springs, Las Vegas down toward Palm
02:15Dale and then toward phoenix. We are going to be up into the triple digits
02:19here. Yeah, really hot in phoenix, 110 degrees on Wednesday and Reno will be a
02:23little windy with that 92 degree highs and be careful. Fire danger is still an
02:27issue.
