Comelec, SMS Sequent sign contract on online voting for OFWs in 2025 elections

00:00The Commission on Elections, or COMLEC, has already determined which system provider will handle the online voting of Overseas Filipino Workers, or OFWs, for the 2025 midterm elections.
00:11The poll body and the joint venture of SMS Sequin earlier today signed a contract for the said undertaking.
00:18OFWs remain skeptical and worried that it might be hacked or their votes might not be read with the new system.
00:24For their part, SMS Sequin expressed confidence the online voting of OFWs will be secure and orderly.
