00:00How many people have started saying that what is the benefit of sacrifice, the blood of so many animals is wasted, people should be given money, they should be helped in the same way, and such things.

00:13So there is a verse,

00:15O believers, do not go beyond Allah and His Messenger.

00:25At that time, it was a commandment of the Companions, that when you are walking, do not go beyond them.

00:33But the Qur'an is for the Day of Judgment.

00:36So what the commentators have done is that do not cross the order of life that Allah and His Messenger have told.

00:45And peace and blessings be upon His noble Messenger and upon his family and all his companions.

00:53With this Ummah of Allah the Exalted, there are countless favours of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.

01:08In that, we have two Eids included in those blessings.

01:16Which no Ummah got after Ramadan, the Eid prayer.

01:22And the 10th of Hajj did not get the Eid-e-Qurban.

01:27And the sacrifice was not given.

01:32We are talking about one of the many virtues of this Ummah, the Eid-e-Qurban.

01:41The time of enlightenment has come.

01:46It is not enlightenment, it is darkness.

01:49How many people have started saying that what is the benefit of sacrifice, so much blood of animals is wasted.

01:59People should be given money, they should be helped.

02:04And such things.

02:06So there is a verse,

02:08O you who believe, do not go beyond Allah and His Messenger.

02:19At that time, it was a commandment when the companions were there.

02:25When you are walking, do not go beyond them.

02:29But the Quran is for the Day of Judgment.

02:32So the meaning of what the commentators have done is that do not cross the order of life of Allah and His Messenger.

02:43Do not go beyond it.

02:45What is the standard of our intellect?

02:47What is the standard of our knowledge?

02:50So my Prophet, on the occasion of Hajj, if you had slaughtered a goat, you would have been sacrificed.

03:01This is the Sunnah of my father, Ibrahim.

03:04We will do this.

03:06So you had approximately 9 Eids, 9 Eids-ul-Fitr and 9 Eids-e-Qurban.

03:21So every year, you did 8 Eids in Madinah.

03:26So you used to slaughter two goats.

03:29One on your side and one on the side of the Ummah.

03:32You always bought two white goats.

03:36One you slaughtered on your side and one on the side of the Ummah.

03:41You did not leave the Ummah alone anywhere.

03:44You remembered them everywhere.

03:47You did 9 Eids on Hajj in Madinah.

03:53So how many sacrifices did you make?

03:55You slaughtered 63 camels.

03:59One camel for every year of your life.

04:03And one camel has 7 parts.

04:077

04:09So approximately 450 sacrifices were made for 63 camels.

04:16And it was a strange thing.

04:18Here, when we make sacrifices for camels or animals,

04:23we drag them and bring them here.

04:25And they are making a lot of noise.

04:27And especially when we make a big animal fall, it becomes a big problem.

04:32But let me sacrifice for you.

04:35You brought 100 camels.

04:39You brought 63 and brought 37 from Yemen.

04:44So 100 camels were standing.

04:4663 of them were separated.

04:49Then 5 camels were brought close to you.

04:54One of the camels would come and it would be slaughtered.

04:57So the fight would start between the 5 camels.

05:01That I will go first and get slaughtered.

05:03The other would say with his tongue that I will go first and get slaughtered.

05:09So there was a war going on between the camels.

05:11They were cutting each other.

05:13So you made 63 sacrifices for camels.

05:17So you also say that it is a time of poverty.

05:20And at that time, there was a lot of poverty.

05:22Divide the money of 63 camels among the poor.

05:25So our opinion should follow the command of Allah and His Messenger.

05:29Because our knowledge is very little.

05:31Our intellect is also very little.

05:33So you said to Hazrat Ali,

05:38Divide his meat, his skin, his food.

05:43And do not give meat as a sacrifice for his cleanliness.

05:50I will pay that separately.

05:52And from your wives, you slaughtered one cow.

05:56You had 9 wives.

05:58But you slaughtered one cow.

06:00So after that, you said to Hazrat Ali,

06:07Bring a small piece of meat from each camel.

06:12So he brought it and said, put it on his forehead.

06:14So it was put on his forehead.

06:16So you had your nails cut.

06:18And you had your hair shaved.

06:21The hair that you had shaved,

06:23Abu Zuma was standing in front of you.

06:25You gave it to him.

06:27So Hazrat Khalid Ibn Waleed asked him to divide the hair.

06:32He divided it.

06:33Khalid Ibn Waleed took some hair from him and sewed it on his cap.

06:39Whenever he went to war to fight,

06:43he used to wear a cap on his head.

06:45And he had an iron cap over it.

06:48He never forgot that cap in any war.

06:52He always won.

06:54So you had your hair shaved.

06:56And you had your moustache shortened.

06:59You had your beard trimmed.

07:01Then you took a shower.

07:03Then you changed your clothes.

07:05In the mean time, your body was ready.

07:07So from that, you ate meat.

07:10And you ate soup.

07:12And then you took your camels to Qaswa.

07:17To visit the Tawaf.

07:19So may Allah bless the Ummah.

07:22They have kept this Sunnah till today.

07:26People make a lot of sacrifices.

07:29And Allah forgives the one who makes the first drop of blood.

07:38On the condition that he doesn't commit any other grave sin.

07:41And all the hair on his body,

07:45instead of every hair,

07:47one good deed is written.

07:49And one is 10 times.

07:51And as much as 10 is Ikhlas,

07:53as it increases, it decreases.

07:55So Allah has kept this reward for that.

08:01So many people make a lot of sacrifices.

08:08And these big fat animals,

08:13they should not be bought.

08:15Their meat is not edible.

08:20They are just for show.

08:22And the rich people have a competition.

08:24I bought it for 20 lakhs.

08:26He says, I bought it for 30 lakhs.

08:28How many goats can be sacrificed for 20 lakhs?

08:31It has a higher reward.

08:33So these big fat animals,

08:37and you can see,

08:39whether it is a goat or a bull,

08:44they do something with them.

08:48Because of this, they gain a lot of fat.

08:52So their meat is not edible.

08:55So this is my advice.

08:57This is not an obligatory Sunnah.

09:01But instead of buying such expensive animals,
