00:00Good morning to all of us.
00:03We have a weather update this Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
00:08Based on our latest satellite image,
00:11the effect of the southwest monsoon is gradually weakening
00:14and the easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean are now blowing.
00:19And as we can see here in the latest satellite image,
00:22although almost the entire country is experiencing a cloudy weather,
00:25in the early hours of the day, the clouds are getting thinner
00:28and are only affecting the areas of Palawan.
00:31And as we can see, there are also clouds in the eastern part of Visayas.
00:36So today, we still hope that it will be a rainy season here in the area of Palawan,
00:42in a large part of Visayas,
00:44as well as in the eastern portions of Southern Luzon and northeastern portion of Mindanao.
00:50Meanwhile, in the vast majority of our country,
00:53although there are still chances of sudden rains or isolated rain showers or thunderstorms,
00:58we still hope that the weather will be warm and sunny,
01:02especially in the afternoon.
01:04For now, we are also not being monitored by low-pressure areas or typhoons
01:08inside and outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:12So for the next few days, the easterlies will continue to blow,
01:16and possibly bring rainy weather,
01:18especially here in the eastern part of our country.
01:23So there will be a time here in Luzon,
01:26because of the effect of the easterlies,
01:28we hope that it will be a rainy season here in the Bicol Region,
01:31as well as in Quezon Province and Romblon.
01:34Meanwhile, in the vast majority of our country,
01:37the weather will be warm, especially in the afternoon,
01:40and there are still chances of isolated rain showers or thunderstorms
01:44when it comes to the afternoon or night.
01:47As for the temperature outside,
01:50it will be between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:53The maximum temperatures that we will experience here in Tuguegarao
01:59will be between 35 to 35 degrees Celsius.
02:02For Baguio, it will be between 18 to 25 degrees Celsius.
02:06For Metro Manila, it will be between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:10For Tagaytay, it will be between 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:14And for Siligas, the maximum temperatures will be between 32 degrees Celsius.
02:20As for the weather in the vast majority of our country,
02:24because of the effect of the easterlies,
02:26we hope that it will be a rainy season here in Palawan,
02:29as well as in the vast majority of Kabisayaan and the northeastern portion of Mindanao,
02:34especially in Karaga.
02:36In the vast majority of Visayas and Mindanao,
02:39although there are high chances of isolated rain showers,
02:42the weather will still be hot,
02:44especially in the afternoon.
02:47As for the temperature in Kalayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa,
02:51the maximum temperatures will be between 31 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:56The maximum temperatures that we expect in Iloilo and Cebu
03:00will be between 25 to 31 degrees Celsius for Tacloban.
03:05For Zamboanga and Cagayan de Oro,
03:07the maximum temperatures that we expect will be between 32 degrees Celsius
03:11and for Metro Davao,
03:13the maximum temperatures will be between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:17We are just monitoring the thunderstorm advisory
03:20that is being issued by our Regional Services Division
03:23through our social media accounts.
03:27In terms of our ocean,
03:28we still do not have a gale warning that indicates the elevation of our country.
03:32That is why our countrymen are still far away,
03:35especially those who have small ocean vehicles.
