00:07to me that this is the most likely outcome, I think, for a lot of sports betting operators
00:12unless they, you know, get their ducks in a row, so to speak, is, Mike, I'm reading
00:17the story over Legal Sports Report that potentially Massachusetts may have a max bet or limit
00:24on their sports betting.
00:25And again, if you can't regulate it, this is probably the easiest way to do it on specific
00:30bets, isn't it?
00:31Yeah, Craig, and the question is, are we going to have a roundtable finally?
00:36They tried to have a limits roundtable.
00:38All the operators besides Bally's did not want to go there.
00:41They said it was proprietary information.
00:43We don't want to do this in a public forum.
00:45The Massachusetts Gaming Commission operates in the open meeting law, so all these meetings
00:49basically have to be public unless they decide to go to an executive session.
00:52They don't seem to want to do that in this case.
00:54There did seem some kind of angst on both sides.
00:58Jordan Maynard, the chair, Sam McQuillan wrote the story for us as the update said, you know,
01:02we want this to be something where it's, you know, done in the proper way where there's
01:07not angst on both parties.
01:09And so we'll see what happens here.
01:11The operators now seem like they want to have it, but the commission has to figure out how
01:14they want to do it.
01:15I don't know if they'll have a roundtable, if it'll just be a meeting agenda item.
01:19But yeah, this is definitely something they're looking at.
01:21We saw Dustin Gowker.
01:22We saw Captain Jack Andrews talk from kind of a different perspective of the bettors.
01:27And a lot of bettors are upset that they are not told why they're being limited.
01:31And so this is a big industry issue, not just in Massachusetts, but throughout the country.
01:36And we'll see kind of in Massachusetts lays the groundwork for other states to kind of
01:41go in a similar direction.
