00:15Hey Nationalians, we are here at Casa Manila Museum in Intramuros.

00:21Relaxed in walking and vlogging their Intramuros trip,

00:24these are tourism students along General Luna Street in Intramuros, Manila.

00:29Since yesterday, only pedestrians and bikers can pass

00:33on the more than 9-kilometer stretch of General Luna Street

00:36from Fort Santiago to Pamantasan Lungsod in Manila.

00:39We were given guidance, we were given importance

00:42on the mobility of the people or being pedestrian-friendly.

00:47We can reduce the number of tourists.

00:49Because of the narrow streets here in Intramuros,

00:53the number of tourists is almost the same as the number of cars.

00:57That's why we built a street for bikers and pedestrians only.

01:03The former asphalt and cemented roads were replaced with bricks

01:08so that it's easier to determine which roads are prohibited for cars.

01:11If there is a car passing by, it's only for emergencies

01:14or for offices and establishments on General Luna Street.

01:18There are no more cars, there is less pollution.

01:21That's how we can provide a better environment for our tourists

01:27because of walking and biking.

01:29These bikers are enjoying their walks and exercising.

01:33The feeling of other tourists in Intramuros is safe and secure,
