Thunderstorms are expected to cause delays across various parts of the U.S. this Saturday.

00:00Let's take a look over the current delays. We have some major delays in Denver still.
00:04Thunderstorms around. Could some of that be volume related? It's possible.
00:09And then up into areas like Minneapolis we have some minor delays.
00:12Let's go into Boston though and here we have a ground stop until eight o'clock.
00:17So big problems at Boston Logan with thunderstorms knocking on our door and heavy rain nearby.
00:24An active ground stop until eight o'clock eastern time according to the FAA data.
00:28Denver International reporting delays of 73 minutes on average with a max delay of
00:33a really ugly looking almost four hours there. And up into places like Minneapolis,
00:3847 minute average delay, max delay almost three hours. So we've got some issues.
00:42San Francisco is looking better. Dallas is looking better. You had some delays earlier.
00:46Not the case at this moment. We have minor delays in our forecast for
00:50Minneapolis with storms tomorrow. A little windy in Chicago. Hot one though.
00:53And we're also dealing with scattered storms in the afternoon in New York City.
00:56Miami you can see a few downpours in the morning. When it comes to the number of flight cancellations
01:00tomorrow, we expect to see a near normal number, maybe a little below average for this time of the
01:05year, but there will be a bit of a spike with the Midwest thunderstorms tied to the front on Sunday.
01:09And then Wednesday we'll see an increase to 250 flight cancellations.
