MARVEL AND MYSTERIES- Be Sedulous

Whether you have followed The Way for five minutes or fifty years, disciplines can be applied TODAY that will impact your life TODAY and accumulate into a force that is unstoppable for tomorrow. Spiritual disciplines don't sound very exciting. In fact, they sound like a dinner of boring broccoli and Brussels sprouts that we eat while holding our noses...BUT it's good for us!

Perseverance is good for us, too, and though it sounds like a noble word only applied to key historical figures, it's a word we can actually begin to live out if we apply a little persistence. Persistence is defined as "doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success." By consistently applying spiritual discipline to our lives, not only will we cultivate success—we will stockpile character and hope as well.
