The Asus Zenbook Duo is back and bigger than ever. Gone is the gimmicky second touch display that squishes the keyboard and touchpad down, and in its place is a second 14-inch OLED display — taking the dual-screen concept and making it better for $1,499.

00:00Hello, I am the Awfully English Jason Englund and, well, look, let's be honest, I could
00:07go on for hours about all the laptops Asus has announced over the past few weeks, but
00:13let's be honest, there's one pretty tall laptop that you're probably quite keen to
00:20see and that is the brand new Asus ZenBook Duo. And yes, that tiny display is gone and
00:28it's replaced with a secondary 14-inch display. What do I mean? Well, it takes a fair bit
00:34of inspiration from the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i and does a fair bit of it better. Now, I've
00:40tried the ZenBook Duo in the past from that tiny display at the top of the keyboard and
00:46while it's a good idea on paper in terms of making the most out of that laptop, it just
00:52felt a bit gimmicky. For example, if I wanted a full dual screen use with one laptop display
00:58on top of the other, I could just flick out the really strong kickstand on it and lay
01:03it vertically in front of me and just start typing away while also distracting myself
01:08by having the GTA 6 trailer running on the top screen for the, I'm going to say, 75th
01:13time. If I just need to do something quickly on my laptop, I can just have the keyboard
01:18plugged in via the pogo pins and it folds flush just like a laptop and it actually feels
01:23pretty thin as well. Or maybe I don't even need the keyboard altogether. I can just use
01:28multi-touch gestures, bring up the keyboard and also a touchpad as well. And all of this
01:33is possible with the keyboard deck having its own battery, Bluetooth connection and
01:38a USB-C port inside it for rapid charging. And alongside that, you'll find two Thunderbolt
01:444 ports, one HDMI 2.1 and a USB Type-A port on the laptop itself. And all of this technology,
01:52including the two 14-inch displays, all of the internals comes in at just shy of £3,
01:57which is several hundred grams lighter than past ZenBook Duo models. So what's the catch?
02:04Well, it's not really a catch. It's actually more good news because while the Lenovo Yoga
02:09Book 9i comes in at £1799 and it comes with the previous generation Intel processor, this
02:17comes with the latest, the Intel Core Ultra Meteor Lake chipset and it starts at £1499.
02:25Now for a dual screen laptop, that is a mightily competitive price point. But we'll save all
02:32of our opinions for the full review, but I'd love to know what you think. So go ahead and
