Actress Pashmina Roshan had an exclusive conversation with IANS. Megastar Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Pashmina Roshan, is making her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’. She shared her inspiration behind becoming an actor and also shared the advice given to her by her family on entering the entertainment industry. 00:00Okay, so I discovered my love for cinema on the sets of Koi Mil Gaya. We used to go there

00:14and it used to feel like the happiest place on earth. By we I mean me and my sister, Ranika.

00:19We used to feel like we should never come back home and I almost felt like I was a part

00:23of that world. So that's where I learned that I really enjoyed being on set. Then we

00:29had theatre in school and I had a really lovely teacher, Ms. Amla Rai, who was so passionate

00:36about her work that she instilled that kind of passion in us and I feel like everyone

00:41in that class has gone into the creative field and I think a lot of it is owed to her. So

00:48I think from these two experiences is how I really had a taste of what being in the

00:55performing arts was like. So I've done theatre as well later and honed my craft a lot and

01:03I've always felt like I'm more an artist than anything else and that's what brings me the most joy.

01:18To speak about the advice Hrithik has given me, he's always told me that, see there was a time

01:26where I was deciding if I should do marketing or stay here because I had doubts, self-doubts,

01:32a lot of self-doubts about whether I am good enough to be in this field or not. So at that

01:38moment, not just Hrithik, everybody in my family had given me the advice that you can

01:46achieve anything you want to if you put your whole entire heart and soul into it every

01:53single day and work towards it every single day and that's something that I take not only

01:59for films, anything I do. If I want to do it and if I want to do it, I try to do it

02:05with full earnest, earnesty and full dedication, diligently until if I walk to the goal or I will run to the goal

02:18or if I can't even run or walk, I'll crawl to it but I am working towards it every single day.

02:23So that's the advice I've given and that's what I've seen men do. So it's almost like it's not their

02:29words, it's their actions that are giving me that advice.
