00:00It was an incredible thrill to receive the call to say that I had won this prize.
00:07I couldn't really believe it. It's such an extraordinary honour.
00:11And one that I hold close to my heart, particularly because Alexis means so much to me.
00:18And to feel that our time together has been celebrated in this way is very special.
00:24And when I called her, she was just thrilled.
00:28She'd been out gardening listening to a podcast and she was so happy for me and for us and for the photograph.
00:35She really loves the work, so it was a wonderful moment to be able to share it again.
00:38I think this acknowledgement certainly is a huge confidence boost.
00:42And just being able to really feel like the work I'm making is landing and for certain people.
00:49And that means a lot to be able to move people and ask people to think about certain things when they look at the artwork.
00:56So for me, knowing that and feeling into that is a really big experience that I'm very grateful for.
