Keith Kerinauia found guilty of murder of Darwin bottle shop worker Declan Laverty

Following an eight-day trial and evidence from twenty witnesses, a jury has found Keith Kerinauia guilty of murdering bottle shop worker Declan Laverty. Mr Laverty was stabbed to death at work in Darwin’s northern suburbs fifteen months ago. Speaking outside court, the mother of the 20-year-old victim describes her relief, as well as the pain of learning the horrific details of her son’s death.
