00:00MMDA is now looking for a man in a viral video who pretended to be a traffic enforcer to get money from his motorist, Ian Krug.
00:18A motorist told us what happened to him while he was crossing the Osmeña Highway in Makati.
00:23He was stopped by a man riding a motorcycle because he was in a hurry even though the traffic light turned red.
00:28Instead of charging him P2,000, he said he can talk to him.
00:43The motorist was in doubt because aside from the fact that he did not have a traffic violation,
00:46the motorist noticed that the man's motorcycle had no license plate and it was not uniformed.
00:58In his attempt to see the ID, he was just allowed to ride a motorcycle.
01:06The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority or MMDA immediately found out if he was a man in the video.
01:14We counted all of our people and investigated and we are sure that he is not a member of MMDA.
01:21According to the post of the victim, here is what happened.
01:24In the area of Osmeña Highway and Arnaiz Avenue, there are few victims.
01:29According to MMDA, there is no enforcer in this area.
01:34Even though the barangay people of Pilar, Makati said that there is no MMDA enforcer in that area.
01:41It was only the uniformed people of the Public Safety Department who commanded the area.
01:46They also have no idea who the man in the video is.
01:50No, I don't know him yet.
01:53In the post of MMDA on social media, they said that they will give P10,000 for identification of the man.
02:00There are people like that who are not wearing uniform.
02:06They are just waiting to be insinuated.
02:10If you see that he is not wearing uniform and they are just waiting to be insinuated,
02:17most probably, he is not a legitimate traffic enforcer.
02:20MMDA also hopes that the victims of the man will talk to them so that they can face the complaint.
02:28For GMA Integrated News, Ian Cruz, Katutok, 24 Horas.
